How to save an ugly F650ST

"The goal was to build a 70’s style enduro bike. We made reference to the BMW that took part in the six days of enduro in the 70s. The bike was completely stripped down to the bone, the main changes concern the frame, modified in its rear part and completely detabbed. We adapted an old tank Enduro 70, modifying the bottom of it to fit the frame. The seat is from a Zundapp, modified to to fit the big rear fender: a vintage Acerbis from an old KTM. The handlebar is new, ergal made, while the instruments and controls were widely simplified and lightened. At the front, we mounted a number plate with integrated UFO vintage front light. On it we mounted the ignition lock, right like on the old BMW. The front fender is also derived from a vintage KTM. The exhaust is a modified Ducati component. The result is a retro motorcycle ready to be enjoyed both in town and on the tracks of Umbria, maybe with nice knobby tires". 
"L'obiettivo era creare una moto da enduro con uno stile vintage anni '70. Abbiamo preso come spunto il modello BMW che partecipò alla 6 giorni di enduro negli anni '70. La moto è stata totalmente spogliata, le modifiche principali riguardano il telaio, modificato nella parte terminale e ripulito di vari attacchi. Abbiamo adattato un vecchio serbatoio da enduro anni 70, modificandolo abbondantemente nella parte inferiore per alloggiarlo sul telaio. La sella l'abbiamo realizzata partendo da una base Zundapp modificata per far uscire il grande parafango posteriore Acerbis vintage che montavano le vecchie KTM. Manubrio da cross in ergal, alleggerita tutta la strumentazione con nuovi comandi minimali. Davanti abbiamo montato una tabella portanumero con faro integrato Ufo vintage, sulla quale abbiamo predisposto l'accensione del faro cosi com'era nella vecchia BMW regolarità. Parafango anteriore anch'esso derivante da KTM d'epoca. La marmitta è di derivazione Ducati. Ne esce una moto dallo stile retro pronta a far divertire sia in città che sulle mulattiere umbre, magari con un bel tacchettato".
