I met a cow in the Alps!

Sono a Champoluc, nella mia casetta di montagna. Ieri, per sfruttare il bel sole che finalmente era spuntato, abbiamo deciso di mangiare un panino (fatto solo di prodotti tipici: pane nero, motcetta e fontina d'alpeggio) dopo una piccola passeggiata fino alla frazione di Crest. Arrivati a destinazione, abbiamo avuto un incontro particolare! :)

I am in Champoluc, in my mountain house. Yesterday, to take advantage of the beautiful sun that had finally popped up, we decided to eat a panino (made only of local products: bread, fontina cheese and alpine motcetta) after a short stroll to the village of Crest. On arrival, we had a special meeting! :)

Il percorso che abbiamo intrapreso è la risalita di quella che di inverno è la pista da sci di rientro. E' strano rivederla d'estate e riconoscerne i tratti che sono solita vedere innevati. Immutato è invece il fascino del panorama.
The path we have taken is the rise of what during the winter is the ski slope to get back. It 's strange to see it in the summer and to recognize the traits that I used to seeing covered by the snow.
Unchanged is the fascination of the scene.

Ed arrivati a Crest, ecco che un pascolo, inizialmente lontano, ci ha rapidamente circondato mentre scattavamo alcune foto al paesaggio.
Da lì ovviamente il nostro interesse si è focalizzato su di loro.
When we arrived in Crest, a pasture, initially far away, quickly surrounded us while we were taking some photos of the landscape.
By that moment, of course, our interest was focused on them.

Non è certo strano né raro incontrare un pascolo sui verdi prati di montagna. Ma per 'chi vien dalla città', vedersi arrivare tutto attorno una ventina di muccone e mucchini... un sorriso lo strappa! :)

It isn't certainly strange or unusual to see a pasture on the green mountain meadows. But for 'those who comes from the city', to see twenty big and little cow coming around ... gives a smile! :)
