“il Pro12 degli altri”: Rhys Webb, intervento riuscito. Arrivederci al 2016

Rhys Webb tornerà in campo nel 2016 dopo l'intervento chirurgico al piede cui si è sottoposto in giornata.

Il mediano di mischia si è infortunato durante l'ultimo warm-up test del Galles in vista della Rugby World Cup contro l'Italia; Webb è già tornato sotto le cure dello staff medico degli Ospreys.

Chris Towers, Medical Performance Manager della Region del Liberty Stadium, ha rilasciato le seguenti dichiarazioni:

"Rhys sustained a significant foot ligament injury that required surgical stabilisation. He has had the surgery and will be non-weight bearing for six weeks and will then wear a protective boot for a further four to six weeks. Only after that will we be in a position to progress his rehab and, at this stage, Rhys is looking at a six to eight month period out of action, a timescale that reflects the severity of his injury."
