Nel corso degli anni mi sono trovata a truccare principesse, figlie di oligarchi russi, modelle, cantanti, imprenditrici e donne ”normali”… ma posso assicurarvi che per tutte, nel giorno delle proprie nozze, l’obiettivo è lo stesso: apparire perfette. Uno scopo che devo ammettere, ogni volta mi entusiasma e eccita come la prima volta. Perché in definitiva si tratta di una vera e propria sempre nuova ed emozionante sfida per qualsiasi truccatore professionista.
Il make-up dovrà infatti essere naturale come un trucco giorno, d’effetto come un trucco sera, leggermente più intenso e ombreggiato come un trucco fotografico, preciso e sfumato come un trucco video. Esso dovrà “durare”, ma non si deve sentire, deve essere leggerissimo e ‘portabilissimo’, valorizzare bellezza naturale e personalità della sposa e allo stesso tempo renderla fotogenica ed unica.
Per non lasciare nulla al caso e tranquillizzare la cliente, il mio suggerimento è di effettuare almeno una prova di trucco a domicilio, qualche giorno o anche molto tempo prima dell’evento. In questi casi, io trucco solo metà viso per poi mostrare alla diretta interessata la differenza tra il prima e dopo, coprendo a turno la parte truccata con un foglio bianco. Non tralascio mai di fare degli scatti con la macchina fotografica digitale, per mostrarle l’effetto del make-up in foto, con flash e senza, e garantirmi un promemoria per quando andrò a realizzare il trucco finale. Per evitare perdite di tempo chiedete direttamente alla cliente qual è l’effetto finale che desidera, il trucco che indossa quotidianamente e nelle grandi occasioni e cercate di capire il suo carattere.
Il mio suggerimento è di provare a studiare il più possibile la persona che abbiamo nelle nostre mani. Partendo dallo studio del volto, i suoi punti di forza e quelli da valorizzare, le aree da ombreggiare e da illuminare. Controllare come si modificano le labbra e gli occhi quando sorride o parla. Chiedetele se ha allergie, il tipo di pelle, se ci sono colori a cui è legata e quali saranno i fiori che utilizzerà nel boquet. E’ importante anche sapere se avrà degli accessori nei capelli, come perle, brillantini, fiori o altro. Insomma un terzo grado vero e proprio per arrivare alla soluzione migliore per la nostra sposa, prima ancora di sfiorarne la pelle con un pennello. Se possibile fatevi anche mostrare l’abito, per capirne il tono di colore, o se ha scollature particolari. Chiedete il colore degli abiti delle damigelle. A volte mi sono trovata a dare dei consigli anche sul colore di fiori e abiti, perchè mal si abbinavano tra loro, in una visione globale dell’immagine. L’obiettivo finale è comunque capire chi abbiamo di fronte e come sarà nel ‘gran giorno’. La nostra accurata analisi dei dettagli e seguente soluzione studiata ‘ad hoc’, saranno di sicuro le chiavi del successo del lavoro finale e la sposa si sentirà rasserenata dalla nostra sicurezza oltre che dal trucco stesso, che influisce non poco sulla felicità della sposa .
Passando alla pratica, preparate la pelle della sposa con creme concordate con lei e adatte, oltre che alle sue esigenze, anche alle condizioni climatiche del giorno. Stendete un leggero velo di fondotinta fluido dello stesso colore della pelle e applicate il correttore solo dove e se serve, per non appesantirla. Fissate tutto con la cipria trasparente e impalpabile, in maniera da garantire la massima tenuta della base. Con una cipria colorata/terra, effettuate ombreggiature ben calibrate per armonizzare i volumi del volto e dare una ‘correzione’ naturale ma allo stesso tempo valorizzatrice dei punti di forza.
Le sopracciglia, già studiate durante le prove e quindi trattate di conseguenza, andranno valorizzate con un punto luce sotto l’arcata sopraccigliare, questo semplice tocco donerà luminosità all’intero sguardo. Una leggera ombreggiatura (prugna, pesca, mattone, etc.), abbinata al colore di pupille, occhi, capelli, vestito e fiori, donerà agli occhi una sfumatura naturale e ne risalterà il colore. Realizzate in maniera non troppo pesante il punto intensità, all’angolo esterno della palpebra mobile per rendere lo sguardo più intenso a livello fotografico.
L’utilizzo di mascara di tipo waterproof garantirà la tenuta in caso di qualche lacrima di commozione, ed è quindi d’obbligo. Il fard, in tinta con il colore scelto per gli occhi, sarà sfumato alla perfezione per dare un effetto naturale e di salute giovanile. Anche le labbra andranno trattate in modo da sembrare estremamente naturali, correggendone in minima parte il contorno solo se necessario. Molte spose mi chiedono di utilizzare il gloss sopra il rossetto, o addirittura in sostituizione di esso. Io lo sconsiglio innanzitutto per problemi di riflessione della luce in caso di flash, in secondo luogo un gloss ha una durata decisamente breve, rischia di non arrivare alla fine della cerimonia. Non lo vieto per la seconda parte della giornata, come ritocco, in caso di particolare predilezione personale.
Il trucco è finito, non vi resta che guardarla con occhi sinceramente commossi un attimo prima di salutarla e dirle che è bellissima.
