If we had not had this week in July and the ability to run in Val D'Aosta do not know what would be left of me, maybe just a pile of ashes, in the best tradition "vampire".
July was terrible, and also in Val D'Aosta heat was felt. Luckily we got three lovely quite high, where the temperature was pleasant; We also set aside a little 'culture (we missed the Bard Fortress and the Museum of the Resistance, but repare ..) preferring walks in the woods, on top of these beautiful and famous mountains!
Among flowers, insects, horses and cows but also fresh air and berries! Here's our first walk, in the nature reserve of Mount Mars. Finally breath!
We go back to Perloz, where we stop for a typical snack "Aosta Valley", made of salami, sausages and cheese enriched with hazelnuts ... In this small country, as well as a good place to eat (the only one, you can not go wrong!) there is the castle Valleisa, unfortunately damaged by the nazi-fascists during World War II. And then a church of the seventeenth century, with a magnificent "Last Judgment."
Castello Valleisa
mentre mangiamo qualcuno ci osserva!
We go to the town of Pont-Saint-Martin, it's too hot here and there is not even a bar open even though we ate enough. So let's go now to see the Roman bridge, a real show! E 'was built in the first century B.C. and yet we can walk over! A great piece of engineering! To be seen!
The next morning we are already on paths, this time in Champorcher, a starting point and relaxing! The day is long, things to do and see so many so we take it easy and here is good even with a sweatshirt, hooray!
Mark is disappointed because we found the cable car closed, but I'm happy !! So he became a spiteful elf mountain;) - But I would not be outdone!
My teasing: Marco upside down ... and I have taken possession of his precious tennis balls that he uses to back pain!
My nails style "Miami Vice"; you know, I'm a maniac!
Meanwhile, the mountains that we have around us curious! I think we put it back on the road! See you next time!
