Interceptor by RAD

A tribute to the Joe Bar team, the BMW Interceptor has been built by a joint venture between Radical Ducati and Max Boxer. This extraordinary special features, as usual for the Rad production, several Ducati components but is based on a modified R80 ST frame with reinforced tubes and improved ground clearance and it’s powered by a R100 MaxBoxer engine tuned with gasflowed heads, bigger intakes and valves, high compression lightened pistons and racing clutch. Un omaggio ai fumetti del Joe Bar Team, la BMW Interceptor è stata costruita in joint venture tra Radical Ducati e Max Boxer. Questa straordinaria special annovera, come di consueto per la produzione Rad, numerosi componenti Ducati, ma si basa su una versione modificata del telaio di una R80 ST con tubi rinforzati e migliorata luce a terra ed ha un motore R100 preparato da MaxBoxer con teste flussate, luci e valvole maggiorate, pistoni alleggeriti ad alta compressione e frizione da corsa.
