King Crimson... senza commento!
Epitaph The wall on which the prophets wrote Is cracking at the seams. Upon the instruments if death The sunlight brightly gleams. When every man is torn apart With nightmares and with dreams, Will no one lay the laurel wreath As silence drowns the screams.
Confusion will be my epitaph. As I crawl a cracked and broken path If we make it we can all sit back and laugh. But I fear tomorrow I’ll be crying, Yes I fear tomorrow I’ll be crying.
Between the iron gates of fate, The seeds of time were sown, And watered by the deeds of those Who know and who are known; Knowledge is a deadly friend When no one sets the rules. The fate of all mankind I see Is in the hands of fools.

Il muro su cui scrissero i profeti Si sta sfaldando Sotto gli strumenti della morte La luce del sole splende intensamente Quando ogni uomo è fatto a pezzi Con gli incubi e con i sogni Nessuno poserà la corona d’alloro Mentre il silenzio sommerge le urla
La confusione sarà il mio epitaffio Mentre striscio per un sentiero crepato e sfasciato Se ce la facciamo possiamo metterci comodi E ridere Ma ho paura che domani starò piangendo Si, ho paura che domani starò piangendo
Tra i cancelli di ferro del destino sono stati seminati i semi del tempo e annaffiati dalle gesta di coloro Che sanno e che sono noti La conoscenza è un amico mortale Quando nessuno fa le regole Il destino di tutta l’umanità vedo che E’ nelle mani degli stupidi
