[KNOTTING] Satin Zombie Knot!

Yeah, I´ve made the same face as you when I read that this knot was also known as ¨Zombie Apocalypse¨.....also because it really don´t look like anything the matter of zombies! By the way this knot as also another name, more technical: Ripcord Zinnet.
I´ve found it in the TIAT youtube channel (I spoke about that here), and I think this was a good choise to make a knotted bar.
I had about 12 meters of a black syntetic satin cord, the one you use for Chinese Macrame´, and I found that it was perfect to make my 2 little bars. So I divided the cord in 2 pieces and started to knot!
 This satin cord is slippery, so at first it is a little difficult to knot and tighten, but when you get used to the work flows quickly!
 
With 12 meters (6 meters each cord) I´ve obtain 2 knotted bar, 36 centimeters long each one.
What I will use them for? You´ll see very very soon!



Esatto, ho fatto la vostra stessa faccia quando ho visto che questo tipo di nodo si chiamava ¨Zombie Apocalypse¨....anche perche´ non mi sembra aver niente a che fare con gli zombie! In ogni caso, per fortuna, questo nodo ha anche un nome piu´ tecnico: Ripcord Zinnet.
L´ho trovato sul canale youtube di TIAT (di cui vi ho parlato in questo post).
Avevo a casa circa 12 metri di un cordoncino di satin sintetico nero, del genere che si usa per il Macrame´ Cinese. Ho pensato che questo nodo e questo cordino fossero perfetti per il progetto che avevo in mente!
Cosi´ ho diviso il cordino in 2 cordini da circa 6 metri ognuno, ottenendo cosi´ 2 ¨barre annodate¨ di 36 centimetri ciascuna!
Questo tipo di cordino e´, ovviamente, molto scivoloso, quindi inizialmente non e´ facilissimo da annodare e da stringere, ma una volta che ci si ha preso la mano il lavoro scorre via velocemente e regolare!
Per cosa usero´ queste due barrette? Lo vedrete molto molto presto!
