L’apertura di Exit

Vi scrivo con il cuore ancora a Roma e la testa un po' nostalgica. Nostalgica sia di questa città che riesce a sprigionare un'energia incredibile, sia - soprattutto forse - per l'affinità che si è creata con Valeria, la responsabile dell' Imperium Artis e tutti i suoi collaboratori (in particolare Marta).

I'm writing with the heart still in Rome and a bit nostalgic head. Nostalgic of this city that can unleash an incredible energy, and - above all perhaps - for the affinity that has been created with Valeria, the chief of the Imperium Artis and all its collaborators (particularly Marta).

Come ormai saprete tutti, sono andata a Roma per inaugurare la mostra collettiva " Exit", una collettiva composta dalle opere di dieci artisti in totale, tra fotografi e pittori. Sono stati due giorni davvero intensi, di preparazioni e allestimento, coronati dal vernissage di martedì sera (1 dicembre), dove ho avuto la fortuna di stringere finalmente la mano e parlare di persona con alcuni degli autori partecipanti, rivedere conoscenti e colleghi romani e conoscere altre persone incuriosite dal tema dell'esposizione.
Valeria è una persona di grandissima creatività oltre che di una disponibilità rara e sincera. Già andavamo d'accordo, è stato facile capire che eravamo sulla stessa lunghezza d'onda.
Parlare con gli artisti, poi, è l'attività che preferisco, perchè sono dei creatori e chiacchierare con loro di arte e poi spaziare in tutt'altri argomenti, senza più pensare ai nostri rispettivi "ruoli", amplia sempre in qualche modo la mia visione del mondo.
Che posso dire se non GRAZIE e alla prossima? Perchè una prossima volta ci sarà, ne sono certa! Voi intanto avete tempo fino al 10 per visitare l'esposizione!
As you already know, I went to Rome to inaugurate the exhibition "Exit", a group show composed of the artworks by ten artists in total, including photographers and painters. They were two really intense days, because of the preparations and equipment, crowned by the inauguration on Tuesday night (December 1), where I was lucky enough to finally shake hands and talk in person with some of the participating authors, review Roman colleagues and acquaintances and to know other people intrigued by the exhibition's theme.
Valeria is a person of great creativity as well as rare and sincere availability. We already got along, it was easy to see that we were on the same wavelength.
Talking to the artists, then, it is my favorite activity, because they are creators and chatting with they about art and then expand in completely different arguments, no more thinking of our respective "roles", always expands somehow my vision of the world.
What can I say except THANK YOU and see you next? Because there will be a next time, I'm sure! In the meantime, you can visit the show until December 10!
