L'Oreal Color Riche Polishes | Smalti

La linea Color Riche di L'Oreal presenta davvero una bella varietà di smalti, colori e finish differenti, ad un prezzo abbastanza ragionevole. Stiamo sempre parlando di circa un euro per ml, ma la spesa complessiva, trattandosi di boccette da 5 ml, si aggira al di sotto dei € 5 (€ 4.90 prezzo pieno, €3.99 in saldo). Ho acquistato tre smalti con finiture diverse per valutarne la qualità: un bianco perlato, un rosa dal finish cremoso e un bel fucsia brillante.

L'Oreal Color Riche line has come up with a nice range of nail polish shades and textures, retailing for a quite reasonable price. Here you can find them at €4.90 or, if you're lucky, discounted at €3.99, for 5 ml of product. I bought three different shades with different finishes, to test them out: a perlescent white, a pinky nude with a creamy finish and a vibrant magenta colour.

Vendome Pearl (005) è un colore molto basic, un bianco perla, senza infamia e senza lode. Non coprente al 100% nemmeno con due passate, come potete vedere dalla foto, ma dalla consistenza molto piacevole e facile da stendere.

♥♥♥ Vendome Pearl (005) is a perlescent white, very basic and not that exciting to be honest. It is not very opaque and it took me two coats to achieve a semi-opaque result, as you can see in the pictures. Nontheless, the texture is quite nice and easy to apply.

Boudoire Rose (204) è un bel rosa antico, perfetto per ogni occasione, dal lavoro alla serata più classica, ma anche per una manicure curata quando non si sa che colore scegliere. Il finish in questo caso è cremoso, quindi né shimmer né perlescenza aggiunta.

Insolent Magenta (504) è probabilmente il mio preferito dei tre. Come suggerisce il nome, si tratta di un color magenta, carico e brillante, con iridescenze blu, appena percepibili nelle foto ma decisamente belle alla luce del sole.

You can't really tell from the picture but it's visible in the direct sunlight. ♥ ♥♥ ♥♥♥ In generale, ho trovato questa linea molto buona, con i suoi difettucci ma soddisfacente. La coprenza varia a seconda dei colori; il bianco è quello che ho trovato più trasparente e con il quale farò decisamente tre generose passate, mentre il fucsia era quasi perfetto già dalla prima passata. Il rosa ha una coprenza media, quindi opaco ma non eccessivamente in due passate leggere. La consistenza però è davvero buona in tutti e tre gli smalti; li ho applicati con facilità sin dalla prima passata, senza striature o antipatici grumi o, peggio ancora, bollicine sulla superficie dell'unghia che compaiono quando lo smalto si asciuga. A proposito di asciugatura, i tempi sono davvero ottimi, indipendentemente dai colori (perlomeno quelli che ho provato io). L'applicazione, come ho detto, è stata molto semplice, anche grazie a un pennellino abbastanza largo che permette di coprire l'intera unghia quasi in una sola passata. Che aggiungere d'altro se non promossi!

Overall, I really like this line. As I said, some of them are not very opaque, as the white one, but on the other hand, some others are very pigmented, as the magenta colour. Luckily enough, they dry quite quickly, so although you have to put on more than one coat, you don't have to wait ages for it to dry completely. Application is really easy and not stricky at all; these polishes come with a wide brush, which reminds me the Rimmel's one, which allows you to do one nail in just one swipe. The texture is very nice and the finish is really shiny and beautiful even without a top coat. They're a HIT for me :) xo Em.
