La Ruina, Albufeira

Eccoci tornati nel sud del Portogallo, ad Albufeira, per consigliarvi un ristorante davvero incredibile, risorto dalle mura della vecchia torre che fungeva da protezione alla cittá.
A Ruina si sviluppa su tre livelli, dalla spiaggia fino al cielo, offrendo ai visitatori una vista davvero mozzafiato sia dalla terrazza interna che in lontananza quando ci si avvicina a piedi o in macchina alla vecchia cittá.

Le pietanze servite sono tutte a base di pesce freschissimo.
Non esiste il Menú, ma per ordinare basta avvicinarsi al bancone del pesce crudo e scegliere la propria "Vittima".
Tra i piatti tipici portoghesi ottime le sardine fritte e i calamari come antipasti e se siete molto affamati e almeno in coppia, assolutamente da provare sono la Cataplana di crostacei o di pesce.
Infine un consiglio: il vino in portogallo non é esattamente dei migliori (a parte i vini liquorosi del nord) dunque al ristorante visto l´alto costo dell´acqua, che comunque viene servita in mini bottigliette é sempre meglio bere birra.

The dishes served are all made with fresh fish.There is no Menu, so you have to choose directly from the counter your "victim"Among the excellent Portuguese dishes: fried sardines and calamari as an appetizer and if you are very hungry and at least a couple, a must try is the Cataplana crustaceans or fish.Finally, some advice: wine in Portugal is not exactly the best (except for the sweet wines from the north) then in the restaurant because of the high cost of water, which, however, is served in mini bottles is always better to drink beer.
