Ho avuto l’opportunità di incontrare e conoscere un brand che mi è piaciuto subito moltissimo: Silvio Fiorello, che dal 1986 produce cravatte totalmente handmade e Made in Italy. Anzi, per la precisione sono prodotte in Sicilia, come anche il loro packaging, ad eccezione che per la seta che proviene da Como.

Non solo il prodotto è bello, creativo e di qualità, ma hanno un servizio di sartorialità anche su tutti gli altri accessori, quindi anche sciarpe e papillon, che può arrivare a tutte le dimensioni e misure; questo li posiziona in area lusso.
Caratteristiche sono le sete stampate a pattern paisley con argento e oro.

Ma la cosa che immediatamente mi ha colpito oltre all’installazione molto creativa dello stand, sono stati i display con le coccarde. Sì ho detto proprio coccarde. Non un oggetto eccentrico o assurdo, ma un dettaglio curato sin nei minimi dettagli, dalle cuciture a mano che ho personalmente constatato ai bottoni: piccoli particolari in seta da appuntare al bavero al posto della pochette nel taschino. Da indossare rigorosamente, a differenza della pochette, abbinate alla cravatta e nella stessa fantasia. Ricorderete tutti che andavano di moda nella moda donna anni 80, ma queste sono diversissime: sono piccole, raffinate, sartoriali, e soprattutto pensate per l’uomo. Le immagini parlano da sole.

I had the opportunity to meet and discover a brand that I love so much: Silvio Fiorello, that since 1986 produces handmade ties, totally made ​​in Italy. To be precise they are Made in Sicily, as their packaging, with the only exception for the silk that is from Como.

Not only the product is beautiful, creative and with a good quality, but it also has a tailoring service on all the products, even for bow ties and scarves, that can be produced in all the dimensions and sizes, and this is what makes a luxury product.

Their most iconic details and products  are the printed silks with paisley pattern in silver and gold.
But the thing that immediately caught my attention, beside the very creative installation of the stand, were the display with ribbons. Yeah I said just ribbons. The idea is not to be intended as something eccentric, but as a detail that shows how a man cares about the smallest thing, and you can see it from the hand stitching of the buttons, a detail that I have personally checked: this can be an elegant solution when you don’t feel like wearing a pochette on your suit. They strictly have to be matched with the tie, unlike the pochette, so they are intended to be in the same pattern. These ribbons are small, elegant, chic, and especially designed for men.
