Aperta la sfida con “12 Years a Slave” di Steve McQueen, “The Wolf Of Wall Street” di Martin Scorsese, “Gravity” di Alfonso Cuarón, “Dallas Buyers Club” di Jean-Marc Vallée e tutte le altre pellicole candidate. E, ovviamente, dopo il Golden Globe, “La Grande Bellezza” di Paolo Sorrentino entra nella cinquina dei Migliori Film stranieri anche degli Oscar, sperando così nella prestigiosa affermazione anche agli Academy Awards.
