Let's play ladies!

I found these beautiful vintage earrings again in my mum's jewel box some days ago,
and I decided to take them with me since I find they're still very fashionable even if they had not been worn for ages: I can still remember my mum matching them with those '80s padded-shoulder dresses...sometimes I used to play with them as well, pretending I was a princess or a very rich lady, dreaming of the day they would have been mine...miss those times!
I was thinking about removing the drop and turning them into button-earrings...or maybe I could be wearing them with a very simple outfit to play them down...what do you think about? (The bangle is not vintage, I found it in an Indian novelty shop for € 3,00 and I think it matches the earrings very well...don't you find?)


Ho ritrovato questi orecchini vintage nel portagioie di mia mamma qualche giorno fa, e ho deciso di "rubarglieli" dato che mi sembrano ancora molto attuali, nonostante non siano stati indossati da anni: ricordo che negli anni '80 mia mamma li abbinava con quegli abiti dalle spalline enormi, e spesso anch'io li usavo per giocare alle principesse o alle signore ricche, sognando che un giorno sarebbero stati miei...che nostalgia!
Per poterli riutilizzare stavo pensando di rimuovere la "goccia" e trasformarli in semplici orecchini a bottone...oppure potrei indossarli così come sono, magari abbinandoli però ad un outfit molto semplice, anche da giorno, per sdrammatizzarli...che ne dite? (Il bracciale non è vintage, l'ho scovato in un negozietto di bigiotteria indiana per € 3,00 e credo si abbini perfettamente agli orecchini...non trovate anche voi?)
