London Diary by Laura Panetta: Last Call!

Ciao a tutti da Londra!!!

Ecco le foto del mio ultimo fine settimana a Londra.
Il mio boyfriend è venuto a trovarmi così ne abbiamo approfittato per farci un giretto nella fredda Londra!
Ci sono foto di tutto quello che abbiamo fatto!

Siamo stati al Victoria & Albert Museum a al Natural History Museum!
Bellissimi!!!

Londra è stata un'esperienza lavorativa e di vita importantissima,
in questi mesi ho conosciuto persone fantastiche, lavorato e imparato tantissimo!

Tutto questo è stato possibile grazie alle persone che hanno creduto in me, quindi colgo l'occasione per ringraziare di cuore tutti coloro che mi hanno sostenuta anche nei momenti più difficili.

Da Londra è tutto.

To Whom It May Concern,

Laura Panetta interned with my menswear label between 15th October 2012 and 15th January 2013. She worked alongside me on producing our Autumn/Winter 13/14 collection for London Collections: Mens. Laura was involved in almost all of the creative processes including, inter alia, creative pattern cutting, toiling, fitting, sampling, cutting and assemblage of the show pieces. She honed her skills in these areas. She was also involved in the backstage production of our presentation at LCM.

Laura was a pleasure to have in the studio. She is professional and incredibly hard working. She is methodical with a keen eye for detail. She coped well with the pressures of producing a substantial body of work in a narrow time frame. She was very reliable and was able to work alone when required. Laura is a particularly fast learner. She also worked with less experienced interns in explaining processes.

Laura’s own work shows a definite style that illustrates her personality. Her aesthetic is subtle and well observed. I hope that with the work she has undertaken here that she will have the professional approach and skill level to realise her designs.
