A distanza di un anno dal tormentone “Payphone“, i Maroon 5 pubblicano un nuovo singolo per l’estate, “Love Somebody“, che segue “One More Night” e “Daylight“.
“Love Somebody” è la traccia n.6 di “OverExposed“, l’album che ha permesso alla band di ricevere ben 12 nomination agli scorsi Billboard Music Awards e dai quali, i Maroon 5 hanno ottenuto un solo premio per la categoria “Top Hot 100 Artist“.
Il video ufficiale è stato lanciato lo scorso 21 maggio su YouTube ed è caratterizzato da un sorprendente effetto visivo, attraverso il quale si scoprono le sembianze prima di Adam Levine, poi della band e infine della modella Emily Ratajkowski (già presente inoltre nel video di “Blurred Lines” di Robin Thicke).
Di sicuro, “Love Somebody” ha tutte le carte in regola per piazzarsi tra tutti quei brani che occuperanno le vette delle classifiche da qui alle prossime settimane, una mid tempo piacevole e allegra, un classico inno all’amore in chiave Adam Levine.
