Marc Jacobs - DOT DOT DOT

As you know I'm a big fan of Marc Jacobs, of his collection, esthetics and generally the way he seems to have a fun, modern but yet very serious approach to fashion. I do like his parfumes too -  I'm still in love with BANG and I guess I 'll be for a long time. This post is about his latest frangance for women, DOT, and although I haven't smelt it , yet, and I'm not a frangance expert/conoisseur, I do love the idea of the product, the packaging and how it does follow up to the fragances that he did in the past.The look and concept of DOT is a ladybug and after DAISY and Oh LOLA it does fit in well in the childish like world and athmosphere that he's been creating with frangances so far. The ad campign, shot by Jurgen Teller, goes in the same direction too.
Come sapete sono un fan accanito di Marc Jacobs, delle sue collezioni, la sua estetica ed in generale il modo in cui sembra affrontare la moda in modo divertente, mderno ma allostesso tempo serio. Mi piacciono anche i suoi profumi - sono ancora innamorato di BANG e pesno che lo saro' ancora per molto tempo.Questo post rigurada il suo ultimo profumo da donna, DOT, e anche se ancora non l'ho annusato e non sono un epserto/conoscitore di profumi, adoro l'idea del prodotto, il packaging e come ben si inserisce nella scia dei prodotti precedenti.L'aspetto ed il concept di DOT e' la coccinella, la quale, dopo DAISY e Oh LOLA entra a fart parte del mondo e dell'atmosfera fanciullesca che Marc Jacobs ha creato con i suoi profumi fino ad oggi.La campagna, scattata da Jurgen Teller , va nella stessa direzione.
