• Mascara : I love you ~

"Non piangere mai per un uomo. Ti si scioglie il trucco. E il tuo mascara vale molto più di uno stupido maschio"Così esordiva Marylin Monroe in una sua celebre frase, non so se sarà stata di conforto per qualche donna con il cuore infranto ma di sicuro le avrà strappato un sorriso!

Le funzioni possono essere molteplici: volumizzanti, allunganti, resistenti all’acqua e così via, ma oggi vorrei soffermarmi proprio sugli scovolini che dal mio punto di vista sono i veri artefici dell’effetto che si vuole ottenere. La maggior parte di voi si lascia influenzare tantissimo dalle pubblicità che vede sulle riviste o alla tv e credendo alle promesse del nuovo super tecnologico mascara che duplicherà il volume delle vostre ciglia vi presentate in profumeria e acquistate questo prodigioso prodotto; poi però arrivate a casa e appena sperimentato ne rimanete deluse… perché? Perché oltre la formulazione specifica dell’emulsione anche la forma e il materiale dello spazzolino è determinante e, dal momento che ogni una di noi ha necessità diverse, bisogna scegliere l’applicatore più corretto per il proprio tipo di ciglia.•~ ~ ~  •Functions can be manifold: volumizing, lengthening, waterproof, and so on, but today I want to focus on their own brushes from my point of view are the real creators of the effect you want. - Avete le ciglia sottili e rade? La vostra scelta dovrà ricadere su uno scovolino con le setole a fibre miste, ben fitto, magari non enorme. La pasta del mascara deve essere non troppo pastosa (appesantirebbe le ciglia appiccicandole) ma cremosa abbastanza da permettere più passaggi.

- Problema con ciglia che spingono verso il basso (spioventi)? Scegliete uno spazzolino con la forma a “banana”, sempre in fibre miste da usare dalla parte della “gobba”, aiuta tantissimo a piegarle verso l’alto. L’ideale sarebbe waterproof dal momento che si asciuga più in fretta: appena applicato, ad occhi chiusi, schiacciate le ciglia verso l’alto con l’aiuto dell’indice e aspettate qualche secondo.
- Avete bisogno di allungare e separare? Di grande aiuto sono gli applicatori con fibre in lattice, donano un aspetto pulito e sofisticato e danno grande definizione. Le emulsioni dei mascara allunganti solitamente contengono minuscole fibre sintetiche che si depositano sulle punte delle ciglia creando ad ogni passaggio una misura in più, di solito si presentano meno cremosi degli altri quindi i passaggi devono essere molto veloci altrimenti si formano i grumi. Io però li sconsiglio a chi porta le lenti a contatto perché a volte questi piccoli filamenti entrano nell’occhio e danno fastidio.

P.S. Chi ha le ciglia spesse e folte può veramente sbizzarrirsi in base a ciò che vuole ottenere. Vi ricordo solo che più distanziate sono le setole tra loro più si otterrà quell'effetto a "ciuffetto" che ricorda le bambole, anche gli scovolini a forma di vite danno lo stesso risultato come pure le setole molto corte.

P. S. Who has the thick, bushy eyebrows can really indulge themselves based on what you want. Ora vi lascio con alcuni trucchetti che magari vi possono essere utili: 1. Prima dell’applicazione del mascara spolverate le vostre ciglia di cipria, questo aiuta a renderle ancora più spesse!2. Il piegaciglia è un valido strumento per aiutarvi a curvarle verso l’alto e se volete sfruttarlo al meglio potete scaldarlo leggermente con il phon prima di usarlo (occhio a non scaldarlo troppo!!!).3. Se hai le ciglia chiare e non rinunci al mascara nero, aiutati con l’eyeliner, ovvero passalo con un pennellino sulle radici rimaste ancora bionde!4. Se ti imbratti la palpebra di mascara e pensi di aver rovinato il tuo capolavoro, non usare il cottonfiock bagnato per rimuoverlo ma usalo asciutto non appena il prodotto si è seccato. Se invece hai sbavato sulla palpebra inferiore usa un cottonfiock “sporcato” con un po’ del tuo fondotinta e vedrai che la sbavatura viene via in un secondo!5. Ricorda di non fare “su e giù” con l’applicatore sperando di raccogliere maggior mascara sul tuo scovolino perché farai entrare dell’aria all’interno del tubetto e questo seccherà il tuo acquisto. Se succede non perdere tutte le speranze ma prova a diluirlo con al massimo due goccioline di acqua fisiologica (dovrebbe resuscitare!)•~ ~ ~  •Now I leave you with some tricks that maybe you might find helpful:
