Memorie RAM Corsair Vengeance Low Profile DDR3: unpack, caratteristiche principali, benchmark e overclock

La serie Vengeance delle RAM DDR3 di Corsair è primariamente indirizzata a chi cerca prestazioni molto elevate dalle proprie memorie, per via delle ottime capacità di overclocking e le frequenze particolarmente alte.

In questo articolo vi presenteremo il modello Low Profile di tali RAM, mostrandovi le caratteristiche, l’unpack delle memorie ed alcuni benchmark effettuati prima in condizioni standard e poi dopo averle overclockate.

Caratteristiche principali

Le RAM Low Profile sono così definite in quanto dispongono di un dissipatore di calore con altezza ridotta rispetto alle classiche memorie, utile per chi ha bisogno dello spazio sopra le memorie, magari per l’installazione di un dissipatore per il processore di fascia alta.

Infatti l’intera altezza di ogni singolo banco misura 26,25 mm.

Il kit testato include 2 banchi di memoria da 4 GB ciascuno, con frequenza testata di 1600 MHz, voltaggio di 1,5 V e latenza 9-9-9-24. Per la precisione, il numero del modello è CML8GX3M2A1600C9. Ovviamente il kit, così come tutti gli altri della serie, è dual channel ed è compatibile con processori AMD ed Intel, compresi gli ultimi modelli prodotti.
