Hyde Park è un bellissimo posto, ma è ancora più bello se ci passeggi con Andrea Masi, uno dei tuoi eroi ovali italiani, al tuo fianco… o meglio, io al suo fianco, visto il gap di altezza!
Andrea si è prestato con simpatia e disponibilità a rispondere a tutte le domande che i lettori di Onrugby ci hanno mandato. Io mi sono prestata volentieri a fare da intermediaria, e ci ho messo un po’ anche del mio. Ne è risultata una lunga chiacchierata, più che un’intervista, di un “ragazzo fortunato” – come si è definito lui – che è anche un grande professionista con la testa sulle spalle e i piedi ben saldi sul terreno. Un ragazzo a cui piace guardare il rugby in TV e girare per la bella Londra in Vespa, che fa anche un po’ sorridere perché Vespa in inglese è Wasp… e lui gioca nei London Wasps!
Quello che non ho scritto nell’intervista è che Andrea, come me, soffre di nostalgia canina. Anche lui è a Londra senza i suoi adorati cagnoni. E come biasimarlo!

Hyde Park is an amazing place, but it could be even more beautiful if you stroll in it with Andrea Masi – one of my Italian rugby heroes – by your side… I mean, let’s say that I walk by his side, according to our height gap!
Andrea agreed to be interviewed by me. All the questions have been sent by Onrugby readers, and Andrea answered to them with a big smile and a very nice attitude.
At the very end it turned out that I spent a wonderful morning not only interviewing a professional world class athlete, but also talking with a great ‘lucky guy’ – quoting Andrea himself – who has a good head on his shoulders and keeps his feet on the ground, like everyone should be. A guy who likes watching rugby on TV and goes around London with his brown Vespa. I mean, Vespa in English is ‘Wasp’, that’s SO funny because he’s playing with the London Wasps!
What I didn’t mention in the article is that Andrea is suffering from canine nostalgia, just like me. He’s in London without his two gorgeous dogs, and he misses them so much! How could I blame him, after all!
