E' infatti di Milano che si sta parlando.

Milano è la città in cui vivo per via dei miei studi da ormai due anni.
Milano è una città strana, sulla quale è difficile, da parte mia, esprimere giudizi. Inoltre non l’ho mai vissuta ‘da turista’ (ma questo di norma io lo considero un bene) e non riesco ad immaginare come la si viva in questa prospettiva.
Milan is the city where I live because of my studies until the past two years.
Milan. Milan is the place where I live because of my studies until the last three years.
Milan is a strange city, on which it is difficult for me to make judgments. In addiction, I've never lived it 'like a tourist' could do (but generally I consider that a good thing) and I cannot imagine how people lives Milan in this perspective.

E’ una città che sboccia in primavera e si illumina con in Natale. In primavera l’atmosfera si fa ‘fresca’ e accogliente e sembra per molti aspetti un’altra città.
Fondamentalmente è un città frammentaria e frammentata. E va vissuto l'angolo piacevole, la via accogliente, il parco che dà atmosfere estemporanee (nei parchi è bello sia fare jogging, sia girare in bicicletta, sia passare un pomeriggio in compagnia o fare un picnic - se concesso dal bel tempo).
Inoltre ho sempre pensato che la Milano davvero bella sia quella che si vive se ci si può permettere di viverla con un cane.
In Milan, everything changes depending on the intensity of light.
It's a city that blooms in spring and glows at Christmas thanks to its lights. In spring, the atmosphere is 'fresh' and friendly and, in many respects, it seems another city.
It is basically a city divided and fragmented. You have to live the pleasant angle, the welcoming street, the park that gives atmosphere (in Milan parks it's nice to jogging, or bicycling, or spend an afternoon with friends or have a picnic - if granted by the good weather).
If you have a dog, your dog will love them: I always thought that Milan is a city to live with a dog.

Piazza Duomo e dintorni diventano il cuore pulsante di una città in festa. E’ effettivamente tutto molto commerciale, ma resta terribilmente affascinante. Viene illuminato ogni palazzo o monumento, con grande gusto. (proprio oggi scatterò delle foto per documentarlo :) )
Ricordo che la prima volta in cui davvero mi sono entusiasmata a Milano, è stato quando in Viale Piave (la via in cui ho abitato inizialmente) in zona Porta Venezia, hanno coperto le facciate dei palazzi di entrambi i lati di luci natalizie.
At Christmas, the historic center transforms the face of Milan. Piazza Duomo and surroundings become the beating heart of a city in celebration. Yes, it's so much commercial, but it is terribly fascinating. Any building or monument is illuminated with great taste. (today I will take some pictures to document it :) )
I remember the first time that I really excited about Milan, it was when Viale Piave (the street where I lived initially) in the Porta Venezia area, has been covered with Christmas lights in the facades of the buildings on both sides of the avenue.

Moscova e Brera sono i fiori della primavera milanese. Dopo il letargo invernale (restano molto belle anche d’inverno), grazie alla presenza di verde e dei tanti localini con dehor, sembra tutto più luminoso e allegro. Viale Garibaldi – che unisce Moscova al Centro Storico – è uno dei più belli della città. Sono zone molto ricche (e quindi molto care) in cui non è facile vivere con poco e spesso i prezzi in qualche modo inficiano la vivibilità del posto. In ogni caso, sono zone perfette per una passeggiata spensierata.
Qui vi è anche il Piccolo Teatro Strehler, uno dei teatri storici di Milano, nonché una delle più rinomate e esclusive scuole di recitazione d’Italia.

Moscova and Brera districts are the flowers of spring in Milan. After the winter hibernation (actually they're very beautiful even in winter) here everything looks brighter and more cheerful, thanks to the presence of green and of the many cafes with Deore.
Garibaldi Avenue - linking Moscova to the Historical Center - is one of the most beautiful in the city. This districts are very rich (and therefore very expensive) and so it's not easy to live pinching and scraping and the prices often becomes a flaw that undermines the livability of the place. Anyway, this discricts are perfect to a carefree walkin' or a shopping trip (which I will devote more space soon).
Here there is also the Piccolo Teatro Strehler, one of Milan's historic theaters, and one of the most famous and exclusive drama schools of Italy.

Purtroppo, per lunghi mesi, Milano è spesso grigia e soffocante e d’estate è afosa e troppo calda. Ciò che davvero non sopporto è la metropolitana: per quanto efficiente e rapida, è buia, sporca e assordante.
Se si avesse sempre tempo di prendere il Tram, sarebbe tutto più bello.
D'ora in poi occasionalmente segnalerò posti, eventi, ristoranti che scoprirò aprendo il tag 'Milan here I am'.
Ecco alcune (poche) foto che ho scattato in città: ditemi cosa ne pensate e contribuite anche voi con quartieri, posti, negozi particolari che frequentate e amate o suggerendomi un tema da trattare!

Unfortunately, for many months, Milan is often gray and suffocating, and summer is too hot and muggy. What really I can't stand is the underground: it's efficient and fast, but it's dark, dirty and too much loud.
If you had more time to take the tram, everything would be more beautiful.
