Milano Food Week - eaters wanted

Ebbene sì, dopo aver partecipato a Vinum (fiera enogastronomica albese, nel territorio di Langhe e Roero), mi si sono aperte le porte per la Milano Food Week, l’evento che per 9 giorni farà cambiare significato alla nota sigla MFW – normalmente indicante la settimana della moda – e che mobiliterà Milano per mostrare e far gustare al mondo le prelibatezze della cucina italiana.

Yes, after participating to Vinum (wine and food fair in Alba, in Langhe and Roero), I have opened the doors to the Milan Food Week, the event that in 9 days will change the meaning known symbol MFW - usually indicating the fashion Week - and will mobilize Milan letting it show the world and enjoy the delights of Italian cuisine.

Ma innanzitutto: di che stiamo parlando?
Ve lo spiego subito.
The Travel Eater could not miss the event and will try to provide you pictures and reviews.
But first: what are we talking about?
I'll explain now.

La MFW da quattro anni a questa parte, accoglie appassionati golosoni italiani e stranieri promuovendo la (invidiata ed invidiabile) cultura enogastronomica del nostro paese. In che modo? spargendo per Milano manifestazioni, eventi, degustazioni, mostre, cucine all'aperto, lezioni di cake design, show cooking, presentazioni, installazioni fino a raggiungere 200 iniziative legate alla MFW.

The MFW for four years now, ravenous greedy Italian and foreign food and wine enthusiastic promoting the (envied and enviable) food culture of our country. In what way? scattering events for Milan, tastings, exhibitions, outdoor kitchens, cakedesign classes, cooking shows, presentations, installations up to 200 initiatives related to MFW.

Tra l'altro, chi fosse interessanti, può acquistare al costo di 10 euro la Milano Food Lovers Card che permette di avere vantaggi e sconti presso gli eventi della MFW e presso alcuni enti convenzionati fino a dicembre 2012 (compresa la palestra GetFit, per smaltire la MFW ;) ) ! Potete sennò vincere la Card ascoltando RTL!
Among other things, who could be interesting, can be purchased at a cost of 10 euro the Milan Food Lovers Card, which allows for benefits and discounts at events and at some of the MFW affiliated organizations until December 2012 (including the gym GetFit to dispose the MFW ;) )! Otherwise you can win the Card listening RTL!

Se invece bazzicate per Firenze, in corso nella stessa settimana, ci sarà il Festival del Gelato (QUI il sito ufficiale). Io a-d-o-r-o letteralmente il gelato (e Firenze!!) e perdere questo evento mi fa piangere il cuore, ma purtroppo i miei impegni, soprattutto universitari, mi impediscono di accettare l’invito che ho ricevuto.

If instead you could be in Florence, during the same week, there will be the Festival del Gelato (the official site HERE). I do literally a-d-o-r-e ice cream (and Florence!) and miss this event makes me cry my heart, but unfortunately my schedule, especially because of my university, prevent me from accepting the invitation I received.
