Monday Challange - SCS

Buon Lunedì !!
Iniziamo bene la settimana con una card fatta per il team di Splitcoaststampers!
Questa card partecipa al challange TLC466 e CAS257. In genere creo una card per ogni challange, ma questa volta ho deciso di unire le due sfide!
Poiche' di mezzo c'era anche una CAS (Clean and Simple) ho usato pochissimi materiali, che come sempre li trovate nel negozio di Scrappando!

- Portofino acquarello 300g/m 100% cotone
- Distress Ink : Pumice Stone , Aged Mahogany
- Moldin Paste + Splatters  Stencil Tim Holtz Collection
- Timbro Simply You Technique Tuesday
- Studio Calico Miser Huey's Plum Thumb
Ho tracciato con la matita una linea ondulata che ho poi coperto usando il gommino della matita stessa per creare i pois. La sfida del TLC consisteva nel "crearsi il proprio stamp" - non avendo a disposizione altro ( mentre ero a lavoro stavo pensando ad intagliare qualche immagine nella gomma ma arrivata a casa non trovavo gomme...VA BE DETTAGLI! ) ho deciso di optare per usare appunto la gommina della matita. Ho usato il distress ink Pumice Stone usando anche le timbrate di diversa generazione in modo da ottenere colori piu' chiari. Ho lasciato che l'inchiostro asciugasse e poi ho picchiettato con il Mister Huey's per ottenere quelle macchioline rosse.
Poi guardavo e riguardavo la card, e non "mi sembrava mia", nonostante gli splatters. Ho cosi deciso di prendere della moldin paste e passarla sullo sfondo della card usando lo stencil della Tim Holtz Collection "Splatters". Ho poi ovviamente appoggiato la mano sopra mentre prendevo le misure per il sentiment, quindi ho dovuto applicare due mani di moldin paste (l'idea iniziale era quella di lasciare un pò di trasparenza visto che la moldin paste quando asciuga diventa un pò trasparente) creando così il macchione bianco. Ho timbrato il sentiment usando il distress ink Aged Mahogany e poi aggiunto i cuori per creare un pò di movimento.
La sfida CAS prevedeva l'uso di una palette di colori che ha quindi determinato i colori di questa card.

Let's start this week in a great way with a new card for the Splitcoaststampers team!
This card is entering two challanges TLC466 and CAS257. Usually I create a card for each challange, but this time I went with one for both.
Since I had to make a card that was suitable even for a CAS I used really little materials, that you can find at Scrappando store!
Material's that I've used:
- Portofino acquarello 300g/m 100% cotone

- Studio Calico Mister Huey's Plum Thumb
I traced with a pencil a curve line and I then stamped over it with the back of the pencil to create some pois effect. TLCs challange asked us to "create our own stamp" since I couldn't find any eraser around (LOL) I decided to use the small eraser on the back of the pencil. I used Pumice Stone distress ink, stamped it over and over to get also some second generation's stamp. I let it air dry and then I added some splatters with the Studio Calico Mister Huey's.
I kept looking at the card and I didn't felt it "mine" since it was waaay to simple and clean , so I decided to use some moldin paste and the stencil SPLATTERS by Tim Holtz collection. I added one layer, since I was looking for a transparency look, but then I accidentally hit it with my hands while still wet and I had to go over it again...OPSIE!
I stamped my sentimen with some Aged Mahogany distress ink and added few teeny hearts.
CAS Challange had a palette to follow and that determined this card's color!
