Per una volta non parlerò di qualcosa che mi ha colpito o a cui ho partecipato ma di un progetto che ancora "work in progress" e si realizzerà nei prossimi mesi.
Sto infatti preparando una mostra collettiva, che si terrà a Firenze, presso Simultanea - Spazi d'Arte, a fine marzo.
The theme of this exhibition is: future, in all meanings and interpretations that you can imagine (yes I admit it: the upcoming new episodes of "Star Wars" and "Back to the Future" by the end of 2015 have influenced my choice). As we wrote in the open call, there are several declinations of the subject: from landscape (perhaps it is the first form of expression that comes to mind) to the portrait, and still life. How will be the man of tomorrow? How will he live? What will he eat? For what will he smile/worry?
It was a long time since I wanted to curate an exhibition in Florence, a city that I have seen only once (what a shame!) and that is full of art. I'm very happy for the location that will host the show and also the support ofDeaphoto, a cultural association, media partner of the event.
The open call will close at the end of February and is open to painters, sculptors, photographers, digital artists. To receive it you have to write to[email protected]

Il tema di questa esposizione è il futuro, in tutte le accezioni e interpretazioni che vi vengono in mente (sì lo ammetto: l'uscita dei nuovi episodi di "Star Wars" e di "Ritorno al futuro" per la fine del 2015 hanno influenzato la mia scelta). Come abbiamo scritto nel bando, le declinazioni del soggetto sono parecchie: dal paesaggio (che è forse la prima forma espressiva che viene in mente) al ritratto, allo still life. Come sarà l'uomo di domani? Come vivrà? Cosa mangerà? Di cosa sorriderà/si preoccuperà?
Era da tanto che volevo curare una mostra a Firenze, città che ho visto solo una volta (che vergogna!) e che trabocca di arte. Sono molto contenta della location che la ospiterà e anche del sostegno di Deaphoto, associazione culturale, media partner dell'evento.
