Here we are, I am going to tell you something more about my visit to the Dubai Mall. This is the second part of the story, you can find the first one here.
In the following posts I will tell you more about my journey, because I’d like to give you some advices, particularly about your shopping in Dubai, so that you can live it in the best way.
Today we’ll talk about what to do after your shopping in the Dubai Mall. Let’s suppose that you’re finished with your hard shopping session. Are you sure? Have you visited the Gold Souk? And the Aquarium? Have you tried all the possible foods of every kind and tradition? Ok let’s go out the Mall then.
The day is soon going to be over, so you can watch the show of the Dubai Fountain, the world’s largest dancing fountain; the shows are In sync with classical, Arabic and world music, and it is in Burj Khalifa Lake, right outside The Dubai Mall on Lower Ground Waterfront . It is surrounded by a moresco style courtyard.
There, you cannot help seeing the greatest vision ever: the Burj Khalifa, the tallest skyscraper in the world. In my opinion the show is best as seen from the Burj Khalifa. How do you do that? I recommend booking in advance , before leaving, you can easily do that from home by their website, where you can choose the date and time; do it as soon as you know the details of your journey, because it is always very busy. You are going to go up to the world’s highest public outdoor observation terrace using a very fast and fun elevator, the world’s fastest elevators, with lights and music (loved it, and I’m claustrophobic!). You will find yourself in a place where you can see the show from outside, it’s truly great and moving, we all were enchanted, people from all over the world and all ages. Besides from that you will have a great look over the city using high powered telescopes. I adored the fountain, but please keep in mind that you are staying over the tallest skyscraper in the world, so you may see the city from above, well, very much from above! So, in the night, everything you see is a unclear, yet fascinating, great number of small lights. Maybe it’s better in the daylight!
There’s the possibility of visiting the higher terrace, there you will be welcomed with a very high living style cocktail. It’s a bit more expensive than the first option.
When you arrive at the Burj Khalifa, you will have to print the ticket, all you have to do is going to the shop – again, very many opportunities of having great shopping time with lovely gadgets – and do it by yourself at a machine, just remember to bring the code you find in the mail of confirmation.

Eccoci qua, dopo una pausa torno a raccontare la mia visita al Dubai Mall. Questa è la seconda parte della storia, potete trovare la prima qui.
Fra l’altro ho in programma altri post in cui racconterò qualcosa di più del mio viaggio a Dubai, soffermandomi ovviamente sullo shopping, in modo da darvi i suggerimenti per viverlo nel migliore dei modi.
Oggi vi racconto cosa fare dopo lo shopping al Dubai Mall. Supponiamo che abbiate finito la vostra intensa sessione di acquisti. Ne siete sicuri? Avete anche visitato il Souk dell’Oro? E l’Acquario? Avete provato tutti I cibi possibili di ogni tipo e tradizione culinaria? Ok, possiamo uscire davvero dal Mall allora!
La giornata volge al termine, quindi è l’ora in cui cominciano gli spettacoli della Dubai Fountain, la fontana danzante più grande del mondo; gli spettacoli sono in sincronia con famosi brani di musica classica, araba e world music, e si trova nel Burj Khalifa Lake, adiacente al Dubai Mall, nel Lower Ground Waterfront. È circondata da un meraviglioso cortile in stile moresco. Ovviamente, non potrete non vedere il protagonista di tutto questo complesso architettonico, cioè il Burj Khalifa, il grattacielo più alto del mondo.
Potete ovviamente assistervi dall’area attorno alla fontana stessa, ma forse perdereste qualcosa. Lo show è decisamente magico se visto dall’alto, in particolare dal Burj Khalifa. Come fare? Vi consiglio di prenotare prima di partire, potete farlo comodamente da casa vostra dal sito, dove potrete scegliere la data e l’orario. Fatelo non appena vi è possibile, meglio se lo fate appena avete deciso e stabilito la data del viaggio, perché come potete immaginare è sempre molto “pieno”.

Salirete in una terrazzo panoramica utilizzando (anche qui un record) l’ascensore più rapido del mondo, e al suo interno ci sono luci e musica (io l’ho adorato, e sono una claustrofobica!) . Quando arrivate al vostro piano, vi ritroverete in una terrazza esterna da cui potrete ammirare lo show ed è davvero qualcosa di straordinario, eravamo tutti incantati, ed eravamo persone da tutto il mondo e da tutte le età. Oltre a ciò, avrete una vista straordinaria sulla città. Io ho adorato lo spettacolo dall’alto perchè è qualcosa di irreale e magico, ma vi conviene tenere a mente che siete comunque sul più alto grattacielo del mondo, quindi vedrete sì la città dall’alto, ma molto dall’alto! Col buio tutto ciò che vedrete potrebbe essere meno chiaro, anche se molto affascinante, ma pur sempre un insieme di piccolo luci. Forse dà il meglio durante il giorno…
Esiste anche la possibilità di visitare un piano ancora più alto, dove è allestito un salotto che vi attende per un aperitivo molto esclusivo. Non ho idea di come siano lo spettacolo e la vista da lassù, ma credo sia un’esperienza più per avere un “assaggio” di lusso. Ovviamente il biglietto sarà un po’ più caro.
Quando arrivate al Burj Khalifa, dovrete stampare il biglietto, e per fare ciò dovrete andare allo shop, dove vi anticipo che troverete ALTRE opportunità per fare shopping, se siete amanti dei gadget qui letteralmente impazzirete! – e potrete farlo da soli in pochi secondi in una macchina apposita; basterà che abbiate portato con voi il codice della prenotazione .
Le mie impressioni personali su questa visita? Si tratta di un luogo incredibile, in cui troverai un’atmosfera meravigliosa, ottima organizzazione anche per via del buonissimo livello della security; lo show e la location stessa sono affascinanti ed emozionanti, e amo il fatto che in un Mall si possa incontrare tutto insieme la moda, il lusso, il divertimento: è un’esperienza a 360 gradi!
