Credo che l’autunno sia la stagione dei sensi…cosa intendo con questo? Che l’autunno è la stagione, più di ogni altra, dei 5 sensi, quella in cui vengono maggiormente stimolati. I believe that autumn is the season of the senses … what I mean by this? That autumn is the season, more than any other, during which the 5 senses are more tickled.
L’olfatto è sopraffatto dal profumo del mosto, delle caldarroste, delle foglie bagnate sotto la pioggia. L’udito si delizia con il crepitio della legna nel camino, lo scrocchiare delle foglie secche sotto i passi, con il silenzio e la calma assoluta di alcune mattine sotto la nebbia o le nubi; il palato, complice la voglia di stare di più in casa per via dell’aria che si è fatta più frizzate e il bisogno di farsi coccolare da “comfort food“, è deliziato da vino, tartufo, funghi, cioccolato – sì, lo ammetto, viene fuori la mia radice piemontese! Smell is overwhelmed by the sweetness of must, roasted chestnuts, wet leaves in the rain. Hearing is delighted with the crackling of the wood in the fireplace, of dry leaves under our feet, with the silence and the absolute calm of some morning under the fog or clouds. The palate, thanks to the desire to spend more time at home because of the air that has become more cold and the desire to be pampered by “comfort food“, is delighted with wine, truffles, mushrooms, chocolate – yes, I admit, all this derives from my strong Piedmont heritage!
La vista è appagata da paesaggi tinti da colori caldi, resi vividi dalla pioggia; è il momento del foliage. L’immagine che ho scelto per rappresentare il foliage, immagine 1, e il turismo ad esso connesso, viene dal Piemonte: sono i vigneti delle Langhe, patrimonio dell’umanità per l’Unesco. Sembra una foglia dorata il lampadario di Lichtlauf (2) che si illumina di riflessi quando acceso; e proprio le foglie cadute possono essere utilizzate per creare facili decorazioni per la casa (3) e la tavola (4). Avete mai pensato ad un matrimonio in autunno (6)? Può essere davvero carino, io trovo meravigliosi i segnaposto fatti con le zucche (7). Tipica giornata di pioggia: regalatevi un momento di relax e coccole sotto una coperta, magari di cachemire (8), gustandovi una delizia al caramello (5)…a proposito di confort food! It seems a gold leaf the chandelier Lichtlauf (2) that glows when lit in golden reflections; and its fallen leaves can be used to create simple home decor (3) and the table (4).
