Sapete qual è un modo veloce ma di sicuro effetto per rinnovare una parete di casa o un oggetto? Rivestirlo con una stoffa o una carta da parati…magari con una fantasia damascata. La moodboard di questa settimana è ispirata alla fantasia damasco, mi piace tantissimo perchè rende, con la ricchezza della sua trama, raffinato e ricercato qualsiasi parete o mobile su cui viene applicata. Può essere solo una parete, per darle risalto, come nell’immagine 3 dove viene messa in luce la parete del camino: l’insieme tono su tono è davvero di effetto. Oppure può essere scelta come finitura di tutta la stanza in tonalità a contrasto rispetto al resto dell’ambiente, come nella foto 8 dove il colore della parete viene poi ripreso da alcuni complementi d’arredo nella stessa palette. Volete are nuova vita ad un mobile a casa? Basta del tessuto damascato, o nella fantasia che più preferite, et voilà..il gioco è fatto! Come per la libreria della foto 7, dove il fondale bianco è stato sostuito dal tessuto a fantasia damasco bianca e nera, molto chic!

This week’s moodboard is inspired by damask fantasy, I love it because it makes, with its rich plot, refined and sophisticated any wall or surface where it is applied. Can be only one wall, to give prominence, as in figure 3 where it is brought to light the wall of the fireplace, the set tone on tone is really of effect. Or it may be chosen as a finish of any room in shades that contrast with the rest of the environment, as in the photo 8 where the color of the wall is then taken up by some furnishings in the same palette. Do you want to give new life to an old furniture? You just need a piece of damask fabric et voilà..done! As for the library of photo 7, where the white backdrop is hereby replaced by fabric fantasy damask white and black, very chic!

Oppure potete cambiare l’aspetto di un poggiapiedi, rivestendolo sempre di tessuto, come nell’immagine 5, che in realtà è un Ikea hack sul tavolino Lack, trasformato in poggiapiedi. Avete a casa un tavolino Lack di Ikea e volete trasformalo? Trovate alcune ispirazioni nel link seguente!

Un altro sistema veloce e facile per rinnovare un oggetto in modo veloce e low cost sono i washi tape, come nella foto 4, in questo caso utilizzato per personalizzare una scatola. Io ho rinnovato un tavolino Lack col washi tape, in fantasia millerighe. Another fast, easy and low cost system to renew an object are the washi tape, like in the picture 4 , in this case used to customize a box . I have renewed a Lack table with washi tape!
E non è bellissimo questo vestito (2) bianco e nero damascato? Stupendo! Questa fantasia è molto utilizzata per i tessuti d’arredo, come per la trapunta e i cuscini in foto (6). Sapete che esistono anche i dolci con fantasia damasco? Ho visto torte stupende…però questi biscotti mi piacevano tantissimo! (1). And isn’t beautiful this dress (2) in black and white damask ? Wonderful! This fantasy is widely used for fabrics used in home dècor, like the quilt and pillows in photo (6). You know that there are also sweets with damask fantasy? I saw beautiful cakes … but these cookies were my favourites! (1)
E per finire..tanto per ribadire il fatto che io adoro questa fantasia…una parete di casa mia è rivestita di carta da parati bianca e grigia con questo disegno a rilievo….magari l’aveva già notato come sfondo in qualche post…per esempio la festa del primo anno del blog ispirato a Colazione da Tiffany. And for last, the fact that I love this fantasy is that one wall of my house is covered with white and gray damask wallpaper …. maybe you had already noticed it as background in some of my post … for example the celebration of the first year of my blog Breakfast at Tiffany’s inspired party!
