New Year's News

Dear readers, I have been absent for such a long time! I'm really sorry for that, but I have been busy with my studies and my job (great changes in this field!). First of all, I'd like to wish Happy New Year to you and your families :)
Let's have a look now to what happened in the fashion world during these days. Without any doubt the most strucking news concerned the name of the new possible Editor in chief of Vogue Paris. Is Tom Ford that will lead one of the most powerful and influent fashionistas' Holy Bibles?

According to well-informed people, Carine Roitfeld herself would offer the job to Ford after her resignation. "I've always been a freelance, when I took the job ten years ago I found hard to get used to having an office and  fixed timetables [...]. It was an incredible adventure [...] I'm surprised I resisted for so long", she explained. And after the last months passed working side by side for the French Christmas issue of Vogue Paris, Carine could have noticed Tom's talent also for publishing.
In case rumors were true, would Tom follow his predecessor's footprints or would he give Vogue Paris a great turning point? Stay tuned.

Diamo ora uno sguardo a quanto accaduto nel mondo della moda in questi giorni. Senza alcun dubbio la notizia che più mi ha colpito è stata la rivelazione del nome del possibile nuovo redattore capo di Vogue Paris. Sarà Tom Ford a guidare una delle più potenti ed influenti Bibbie dei fashionistas?
Secondo i ben informati, Carine Roitfeld stessa avrebbe offerto il lavoro al Ford dopo aver dato la sue dimissioni. "Sono sempre stata un freelance, quando ho iniziato questo lavoro dieci anni fa ho trovato difficile abituarsi ad avere un ufficio e orari prestabiliti [...]. E 'stata una incredibile avventura [...] sono sorpresa di aver resistito per tanto tempo ", ha spiegato. E dopo gli ultimi mesi passati lavorando fianco a fianco peril numero natalizio di Vogue Paris, Carine potrebbe aver notato il talento di Tom anche per l'editoria.
