Niente dolcetti, solo scherzetti * Non candy Halloween treats

E se non volessimo dare dolcetti, caramelle e affini zuccherosi la notte di Halloween? Quali alternative? What alternatives instead of giving sweets, candies and related sugary  things during Halloween night?
Mele, per esempio, anche se non è che i bambini siano esattamente entusiasti. Un anno in America ho visto distribuire da una mamma molto attenta ai dentini dei bimbi filo interdentale e pastiglie rivela placca…Senza arrivare a tanto, ci sono bambini che non possono e non devono assumere dosi eccessive di zuccheri e calorie. Apples, for example, although it is not that children are exactly excited. Some years ago when I was in the USA, I saw a mom very attentive to the baby teeth distribute   floss and revealing  pads reveals plaque … Without going that far, there are children who can not and should not take excessive amounts of sugar and calories.

E quindi? Ho pensato a qualcosa di simpatico e  poco spaventoso che potesse essere un’alternativa sana e divertente al classico dolcetto di Halloween. Prendendo  come “cavia” mia figlia e qualche suo amichetto, ho concluso che gli occhietti,  i pom pom e le gocce di colla  caldo, rispettivamente gli occhietti di mosca, i peli di salamandra e le caccole di mostro, sono il giusto mix tra divertimento e brividi! And then? I thought of something funny and a little scary that could be a fun and non candy alternative to classic Halloween treats. Taking as a “guinea pig” my daughter and some of her little friends, I have concluded that little eyes, pom pom and drops of hot glue, respectively fly eyes,  salamander hair and   monster boogers, have the right mix of fun and chills!
Ho quindi disegnato dei barattoli da riempire di piccoli orrori. Dopo aver fatto delle prove, ho concluso che le dimensioni dovevano essere minori: piccoli barattolini pieni di … schifezze, perfetti per piccole manine con scritte … mostruose!   I drew mason jars to fill with little horrors. After doing tests, I verified that the size of mason jars should be smaller: small jars full of crap … perfect for little hands with … monstrous writes!
Come fare: stampare  a colori su cartoncino il disegno dei barattolini e ritagliarli, per dare maggiore solidità ho ritagliato delle ulteriori sagome di cartoncino e le ho incollate sotto ai disegni. Poi ho utilizzato occhietti e pom pom che ho preso da Tiger e con la colla a caldo ho fatto delle goccioline a imitazione delle caccole di mostro! Che divertente! How to: print on cardstock the drawings of jars and cut them out, to give more strength I cut out more shapes of cardboard and pasted them below to the drawings. Then I used little eyes and pom poms that I took from Tiger and with the hot glue droplets I did in imitation of monster boogers ! What fun!
I barattolini possono anche essere utilizzati come regalino per feste a tema Halloween! The jars can also be used as a gift for Halloween themed parties!
