This way to Olympic Park and Microsoft Office Suite
Mancano pochi giorni all’inizio dei Giochi Olimpici, ma qui a Londra le Olimpiadi sono già iniziate. Quasi tutte le delegazioni del mondo hanno preso possesso del loro quartier generale olimpico (a 5 minuti a piedi da qui c’è quello del Brasile, e mi sono già fatta riconoscere), la stampa è arrivata quasi al completo, molti impianti non sono ancora terminati e si lavora alacremente perché sia tutto pronto per il 27 luglio. La fiaccola olimpica arriverà a Londra domani: è sempre la solita che si fa attendere! Il giro per Londra inizierà domani a Greenwich, e passerà per le mie parti lunedì mattina. Non so se riuscirò a vederla perché ho un appuntamento di lavoro, però :(
Queste olimpiadi di Londra sono l’evento dell’anno che più ho atteso: come sapete, ho provato ad essere presente come inviata per Samsung, ma con poco successo. Tuttavia, non ho intenzione di lasciare bianche le pagine di questo blog proprio durante i Giochi: dal 27 luglio al 12 agosto il Daily Pinner diventa Olympinner. Sto preparando una serie di interventi (e se Photoshop mi aiuta anche una grafica, ma non contateci troppo), per raccontare le Olimpiadi a modo mio. Quello che vedo, quello che succede ai giochi e quello che accade ma che la stampa magari non ha tempo di raccontare.
Ma le Olimpiadi sono anche fratellanza e spirito di condivisione, e vorrei che questi valori fossero ben presenti anche sul Daily Pinner Olympinner. Ho quindi deciso di aprire le porte del mio piccolo blog, lasciando spazio anche alle parole e agli occhi di amici ed esperti di alcune discipline. Alessandro, Domizia, Elia, Lorenzo, Sara, Sergio e altri: tramite il mio blog anche loro avranno la possibilità di raccontare quello che hanno visto, e svelarci qualche segreto dei loro sport preferiti. E insegnarmi qualcosa in più sugli sport che conosco poco.
Spero di riuscire a trasmettere a tutti voi che mi leggete cosa rappresentano per me le Olimpiadi, e il fatto che avrei venduto mia madre pur di potervi partecipare da atleta!
E se volete anche voi un posto al sole alle Olympinner, non vi resta che scrivermi!

Just a few days to go and the Olympic Games will officially start, but here in London the Olympics have already started. Almost all the delegations of the Countries have taken possession of their Olympic headquarters (there is the Brazil at 5 minutes by walk from here, and I have already made to recognize myself), the press is coming and ready to go, many facilities are not yet completed and people is working hard because it all must be set for July 27th. The Olympic torch will arrive in London tomorrow… it’s always the last one that we have to wait for! The torch relay will continue in London at Greenwich, and will pass in my nearby on Monday morning. I do not know if I will see it because I have a business appointment, though: (
London Olympics are my most expected event of the year: as you know, I tried to be here as a blogger for Samsung, unfortunately with no success. However, I have no intention of leaving white pages on this blog during the Games: from July 27th to August 12th, the Daily Pinner will become Olympinner. I am preparing a series of blogs (and graphics, if Photoshop helps me as well, but do not count on it), to tell the Olympics in my own way. What I see, what happens at the Games and what the press might not have time to tell.
Of course Olympics mean also spirit of brotherhood and sharing, and I would like these values were very present in the Daily Pinner Olympinner too. Then I decided to open the door of my little blog, allowing the words and eyes of friends and experts in certain disciplines. Alessandro, Domizia, Elia, Lorenzo, Sara, Sergio and others will be able – through my blog – to spread and tell what they are going to see, also revealing some secrets of their favorite sports. And teaching me more about sports I don’t know well.
I hope to convey to all of you readers what Olympics really represent to me, and the fact that I would sold my mother just to take part as an athlete!
