Orta lake with rain

La primavera sembrava finalmente arrivata ma il raduno sul Lago d'Orta è stato funestato da persistenti scrosci d'acqua che hanno ridotto le presenze in kayak a pochi "giovani" audaci...
Ci siamo così preparati sotto l'acqua, ci siamo imbarcati sotto l'acqua e ci siamo diretti verso l'Isola di San Giulio sotto l'acqua...

Abbiamo chiacchierato sotto l'acqua e pagaiato sotto l'acqua, ma solo per un paio d'ore... poi siamo stati richiamati dai profumati manicaretti che i più "anziani" stavano già degustando al ristorante!
Mentre ci aggiravamo nei vicoli del paesino di montagna, è arrivato un sms del mitico Ado degli Inuit del Lario: "A noi è comunque piaciuta"!

Così, se nella foto ricordo dell'arrivo eravamo in tanti, in quella del pomeriggio eravamo oramai in pochi...

Ed il de-briefing di Luciano accompagnato dal percorso (previsto e mai realizzato) segnato in rosso sulla maxi-cartina del lago è stato seguito solo dagli ultimissimi ritardatari, alticci e felici!

Spring seems to have finally arrived but the Orta Lake meeting was characterized by the rain that reduced participation by kayak to only a few bold youths!
So, we prepared in the rain, we started kayaking in the rain and we paddled off towards the islands of San Giulio in the rain... but only for a couple of hours, then we were lured back to the restaurant by the smell of the food that the other "older" paddlers were preparing, for the rest of the day!

While we were driving round the mountainous countryside lanes, we received an sms from Ado saying: "We liked it however!"
If we were so much people in the first photo, only a few remained in the second... and Luciano's de-briefing with the marked (planned but not fully realised) trip in red on the maxi-map of the lake wa followed by only four or five, tipsy and happy!
