Oscar 2016: il party stellare di Vanity Fair

Emozioni e sorprese. Sono queste le costanti che hanno caratterizzato gli 88esimi Academy Awards. I momenti di commozione non sono mancati e anche i pronostici della vigilia non erano per nulla scontati. A testimoniare quanto non ci fossero verità o certezze assolute sull’assegnazione dei premi, le parole di Leonardo DiCaprio che, dopo sei nomination all’attivo, è riuscito finalmente a conquistare la tanto ‘agognata’ statuetta per Revenant-Redivivo, ponendo fine ad un digiuno lungo 23 anni dai tempi della sua prima apparizione come candidato a miglior attore non protagonista per la performance in Buon compleanno Mr. Grape.

Nel discorso post vittoria, il divo americano, considerato uno degli interpreti più influenti e apprezzati della sua generazione (personalmente il migliore), ha ringraziato la produzione e il regista, sottolineando il grande lavoro svolto a fronte delle difficoltà riscontrate sul set e delle impervie condizioni climatiche a cui la troupe si è dovuta sottoporre. A proposito del film e del rapporto tra uomo e ambiente ha poi aggiunto: “Non diamo per scontato questo pianeta. Non davo per scontata questa serata”. E come dargli torto.

Ma non è tutto. L’edizione 2016 ha visto trionfare un’illustre eccellenza italiana apprezzata nel mondo, il Maestro Ennio Morricone – miglior colonna sonora dell’ultima fatica di Quentin Tarantino The Hateful Eight – e anche le giovani rivelazioni della stagione come Alicia Vikander e Brie Larson. Il vero outsider è stato Mark Rylance, veterano e drammaturgo britannico di caratura internazionale, che ha ricevuto il premio come miglior attore non protagonista per Il Ponte delle Spie di Steven Spielberg, sovvertendo le previsioni iniziali dei bookmakers che davano favorito Sylverster Stallone.

Terminata la cerimonia, ad animare la serata ci ha pensato Vanity Fair che ha organizzato un party esclusivo all’insegna del glamour e dell’eleganza in cui hanno sfilato i protagonisti degli Oscar e i numerosi invitati. Tra abiti sfarzosi e una parata di stelle che hanno dominato la scena, vi proponiamo qui sotto gli scatti più cool e significativi dell’evento.
