Party in Chianti!

E' un vero mistero il come i miei genitori riescano ancora a sopportarmi, divento ogni giorno più isterica, comunque la mia regione è ricca di misteri, uno più o uno meno, non credo cambi all'economia del mondo...Resta il fatto che esattamente una settimana fa insieme ai miei genitori ci siamo regalati un giorno di relax nel paese più suggestivo del Chianti: Volpaia.L'occasione è stato l'invito ricevuto da Paola per i 15 anni del suo Bar Ucci; sia questo "bar" che Paola rappresentano una realtà imprenditoriale luminosa per il Chianti, ma io direi per tutta la Toscana, così come dovrebbe essere se non l'avessero stravolta e modificata a suon di colate di cemento.
It 'a real mystery how my parents still able to put up with me, I become ever more hysterical, however my region is full of mysteries, one more or one less, I do not think changes in the world economy ...The fact remains that exactly a week ago with my parents we have given away a relaxing day in the country's impressive Chianti: Volpaia.The occasion was the invitation received from Paola for the 15 years of his Bar Ucci; is this "bar" that Paola represent an entrepreneurial light for Chianti, but I would say to all of Tuscany, as it should be if they had not distorted and changed to the sound of concrete casting.


 Il Bar Ucci non è solo un bar, è principalmente il "benvenuto" che Volpaia da ai suoi ospiti. La simpatia di Paola è autentica e mette chiunque a suo agio e in questo posto, prima o poi, devono venire tutti... Anche Tony Blair ha aiutato Paola ha servire ai tavoli, e lo staff di Obama ha apprezzato la sua cucina: genuina, toscana ma soprattutto qui trionfa il buon gusto, senza mezzi termini: qui si mangia bene! Provate le sue bruschette, le pappardelle oppure le tagliatelle al cinghiale o al tartufo, i tradizionali pici, il fresco farro della garfagnana, i piatti di salumi e formaggi e il buon vino del Chianti (basta quello "della casa" per andare sul sicuro, oppure fatevi consigliare da Paola..)
The Bar Ucci is not just a bar, it is mainly the "welcome" that Volpaia by guests. The sympathy of Paola is authentic and puts everyone at ease and in this place, sooner or later, must come all ... Even Tony Blair has helped Paola was waiting tables, and Obama's staff appreciated her cooking: genuine , Tuscan but especially here triumphs good taste, bluntly: eat well here! Sembra un borgo abbandonato,circondato da vigneti e colline boscose,  eppure qui il lavoro non manca, anzi è sempre un fermento!Tutto il paese lavoro intorno al vino (castello di Volpaia) e al buon cibo tradizionale. Oltre al bar Ucci, troviamo il ristorante di sua sorella Carla "La Bottega" e l'Osteria del castello di Volpaia. Per fortuna non ci sono negozi turistici né quei resort che vanno tanto di moda. Qui tutto è ancora genuino e semplice come le vecchie case di campagna in cui siamo cresciuti..
It looks like a deserted village surrounded by vineyards and wooded hills, but here no lack of work, so it's always an excitement!Across the country work around wine (Castello di  Volpaia) and good traditional food. Besides the bar Ucci, we find the restaurant of his sister Carla "La Bottega" and the Osteria of the castle of Volpaia.Fortunately there are no tourist shops or those "resorts" that are so fashionable. Here everything is still genuine and simple as some old country houses we grew up in ..

Dopo un po' di riposo, facciamo una passeggiata nei dintorni, questa strada collega Volpaia a Panzano. Mentre Volpaia è il regno di Paola, Panzano lo è del macellaio e cultore della bistecca fiorentina Dario Cecchini!Fa ancora troppo caldo, questo clima va bene solo per concerti di cicale...Così torniamo in casa e con calma ci prepariamo per la festa... sembra che ci saranno molti vip!

Nostri vicini di tavolo erano la ballerina Oriella Dorella, bellissima e in formissima, il suo levriero italiano e due ballerini della Scala che ci hanno cantato "Vivo per lei". Sinceramente io odio il karaoke, però sono stati bravi, visto che la canzone non è per niente facile...
