Photo Frame

Finalmente dopo mesi sono riuscita a dare a Chiara il suo regalo di Natale. A dire il vero, l'ho dovuto rifare visto che siamo a maggio e direi che le carte natalizie sono un po' tanto fuori stagione...quindi mi sono buttata sul mio classico stile.... carta Harmony, gesso acrilico e il mio adorato Modge Podge!
Ho creato prima la base con un cartoncino di 230 gr e ho incollato il tutto usando la colla da bricolage della Pritt
  Poi usando il Modge Podge ho attaccato pezzi di pagine degli Harmony. Ho leggermente distressato con il distress ink "Old Paper" e ho lasciato "riposare" per una notte.
    Ho applicato infine del gesso acrilico qua e la' cercando di nascondere i piccoli difetti, ho distressato il gesso con gli inchiostri Broken China, Peacock Feather e Tumbled Glass. Sul retro ho applicato un foglio di acetato, poi le foto ed infine un altro ritaglio di cartoncino (anch'esso ricoperto di carta Harmony) e poi ho decorato.

Finally after months and months I was able to give to my friend Chiara her Christmas Gift! Honestly, since Christmas is kinda "off season" (lol) I decided to make a new one with my "classical style" -- old book pages, acrylic gesso and my beloved Modge Podge!
The base is made of hard card stock, I used white glue to glue it all together. Then I used the Modge Podge to attach the little pieces of the old book. I lightly distressed the edge with the "Old Paper" distress ink, I then let it dry for a whole night. To cover the imperfection I applied acrylic gesso and then I distressed it with Broken China, Peacock Feather and Tumbled Glass. On the back I applied acetate, then the bw photo and a back cover made of the same card stock of the whole structure (this too covered with the old paper pages), last I decorated it. Chiara liked it, I hope you will too!
