Practical Lessons # 2 – The easiest way to remove the dark nail polish (and even nail art)

Io adoro gli smalti scuri e quelli glitterati. Sono facili da usare e con una sola passata si creano bellissimi e semplici effetti di nail art. Il guaio, però, è che ci impiegavo un sacco di tempo per toglierli, e spesso mi restavano macchiate le pellicine attorno alle unghie, quando il residuo non finiva sotto le unghie o tra le mie unghie e il gel. Insomma, una vera e propria schifezza. E non mi avvicinavo neppure con lo sguardo agli smalti glitter che ho nella mia bella cassettiera Ikea (di lei vi parlerò a breve, io prometto!). Ci deve essere un modo più facile, pensavo. Poi mi è venuto in mente quello che i make up artist consigliano per rimuovere un make up occhi particolarmente ricco e complesso: imbevere un dischetto di cotone e lasciarlo agire sulla parte interessata. Ora, mi sono detta, se funziona per togliere bene l’ombretto nero senza sembrare un panda, perché non potrebbe funzionare anche per lo smalto con il glitter?

I love dark and glitter nail polishs. They are easy to use and with just one pass you create beautiful effects and easy nail art. The trouble, though, is that I spent a lot of time to remove them, and I often remained stained cuticles around the nails, did not end when the residue under the fingernails or between my nails and gel cover. There must be an easier way, I thought. Then it occurred to me what the makeup artist recommended to remove  a particularly rich and complexe ye make up: soak a cotton pad and leave it in that area. Now, I said to myself, if it works well to remove the black eye shadow without looking like a panda, why could not work for the glaze with glitter?

Ovviamente, funziona eccome, e vi togliete la pena in quindici minuti quindici, signore e signori. Vediamo ora cosa vi occorre e come si fa:

Occorrente:
*Unghie con smalto glitterato (ma và? ;>)
*Dischetti di cotone
*Solvente per smalto
*Nastro Adesivo
*Forbici
*Carta Argentata

Procedimento:

2-Imbevete un talloncino e posizionatelo sull’unghia.

3-Fermate il dischetto con del nastro adesivo, formando un cappuccio. Accertatevi che la parte imbevuta di solvente sia a contatto con lo smalto da rimuovere!

4- Coprite con la carta argentata.
4 – Cover with foil.

Ripetete dal punto 2 al punto 4 per altre nove volte. Aspettate quindici minuti che la cura faccia effetto.
Scegliete delle attività che non richiedano l’uso delle mani (leggete un libro, guardate la tv, fate una telefonata, rilassatevi, fate meditazione, yoga…). (Dura la vita di Edward Manidiforbice…)

 Consigli e trucchi:
1- Ritagliate tutti i talloncini di cotone prima di  versarvi il solvente.
2- Preparate le strisce di nastro adesivo prima, così non vi si attaccherà addosso mentre avete il talloncino con il solvente.
3- Preparate le strisce di carta argentata prima, e preparatele ampie, così da abbracciare per bene la punta delle dita.
4-Usate sempre un solvente senza acetone. Non secca le unghie, non secca la pelle.
5- Fate una prova preliminare su una parte nascosta per prevenire qualsiasi irritazione cutanea. Se, però, doveste sentire una qualsiasi forma di prurito o irritazione sulla pelle, rimuovete immediatamente i talloncini e sciacquate la parte sotto acqua corrente fredda. In caso di irritazione, consultate un medico. Tips and tricks:
