Premi Oscar 2015, le Nomination

Molte conferme, qualche sorpresa e alcune assenza di rilievo: sono state elencate le Nomination ai Premi Oscar 2015 che verranno assegnati il prossimo 22 Febbraio 2015 al Dolby Theatre di Hollywood, Los Angeles.
Annunciate dalla Presidente degli Academy Cheryl Boone Isaacs, dall’attore Chris Pine e dai registi Alfonso Cuarón e J.J. Abrams, le candidature hanno visto prevalere in particolare The Grand Budapest Hotel di Wes Anderson e Birdman di Alejandro G. Iñárritu che hanno conquistato nove Nomination: entrambi per Miglior Film, Miglior regia, Miglior Sceneggiatura originale. Se Birdman spicca poi sul lato artistico, con le Nomination per Michael Keaton (Miglior attore protagonista), Emma Stone e Edward Norton, The Grand Budapest Hotel svetta sul lato tecnico, con le candidature per Miglior Montaggio, Costumi, Scenografia, Colonna Sonora, Trucco e Acconciature; entrambi i film sono candidati per la Miglior Fotografia, mentre Birdman pareggia il conto le nomination per Miglior Sonoro e Montaggio sonoro. Insomma, è sfida aperta ma attenzione agli altri film, tutti di grande qualità. Ad esempio The Imitation Game, che ha ottenuto otto candidature, quindi American Sniper e Boyhood con sei ciascuno, mentre a quota cinque vi sono The Theory of Everything, Whiplash, Foxcatcher e Interstellar. Proprio per quanto riguarda il capolavoro di Christopher Nolan, se da un lato c’è soddisfazione per le candidature tecniche e per la colonna sonora di Hans Zimmer, dall’altro è inspiegabile (ma neppure tanto, conoscendo l’Academy!) l’assenza della nomination per la fotografia di Hoyte Van Hoytema e soprattutto l’aver snobbato l’opera dalle categorie di Miglior film, Miglior attore protagonista (McConaughey) e Miglior Regia, e anche da altre, a dirla proprio tutta… Va anche peggio a Gone Girl di David Fincher che quantomeno può consolarsi con la presenza di Rosamund Pike tra le candidate a Miglior Attrice protagonista. A secco, a sorpresa, anche Big Eyes di Tim Burton, con Amy Adams fresca di vittoria ai Golden Globes.
