BUONA EPIFANIA A TUTTI!!Dovete scusare una certa incostanza nel pubblicare i miei post in questi giorni: sono a Champoluc e la connessione è sempre un po' un problema. Ho però pronti moltissimi post per quando finiscono le vacanze ;) !!
Ecco una prima traccia delle mie vacanze in Umbria: qualche scorcio della piccola grande Amelia. E' la città ritenuta più antica della regione e uno dei più antichi centri italiaci. Arroccatissima e cinta da meravigliose musa poligonali è un borgo davvero affascinante.
Noi lo abbiamo ritratto di notte, ve ne lascio un piccolissimo assaggio:

You must excuse a certain inconsistency in publishing my posts during these days: I'm in Champoluc  and internet connection is always a little problem. But I have ready many posts for when holidays will finish ;)!
Here is the first mark of my holidays in Umbria: some glimpses of the great little Amelia. It's the city considered the oldest in the region and one of the oldest centers in Italy. It's very perched and surrounded by beautiful polygonal walls. I find it a fascinating town.
We took its portrait during the night, I leave there a small part of it:

Sono poche immagini ma danno l'idea dell'atmosfera - spero. Inoltre mettono alla prova le nostre macchine fotografiche (la mia una Canon, Giacomo una Nikon).
Spero che vi abbia incuriosito, perchè presto arriveranno numerosi approfondimenti!
Qui in montagna continua a nevicare e in uno dei prossimi post vi mostrerò di che spettacolo possiamo godere (e di che cucina meravigliosa!)(vi ricordate quando vi ho parlato della cucina valdostana?)

E a proposito di ghiottonerie, festeggiate ancora l'arrivo della Befana? (ho scoperto ora che è un usanza solo italiana O.O ) Cosa si nascondeva dentro le vostre calze?? :D lasciatemelo scritto in un commento qui sotto!!

Here in the mountains it keep on snowing and in one of the next postes I will show you what kind of views we can enjoy to see (and what wonderful food!) (Do you remember when I spoke about the Val d'Aosta cuisine?)


And speaking about treats, today italian children are enjyoing Befana's arrival! In our tradition she's an old womas as old as Santa that takes candies to chilrdren during the night of Epiphany's Eve into socks that children put on their chimneys! I asked them to let me know what was hiding inside their socks!!
