di Antonio Conte – A mitigare la gran calura di oggi, tra le fronde di una campagna a due passi dal mare di Giovinazzo, non poteva arrivare una notizia migliore. Finalmente una tregua concessami dai nipoti (con loro mi divertono molto, davvero), in piena campagna, con mia sorpresa c’é anche il campo 3G, apro quindi l’iPhone e mi precipito ad una veloce consultazione (prima che tornino) delle notizie del giorno, eventuali email, niente di che, solo qualcuno che ha sbagliato a recapitarmi la sua email, quella che aspetto ancora non arriva, invece trovo molte notizie dalla agenzie, ed anche il comunicato MAE, che strombazza per il nuovo blog degli Esteri in favore degli ambasciatori, peccato che lo scrivono solo in inglese, di questo passo avremo un esercito che parla inglese e magari anche le lezioni della scuola materna. Finalmente una sbirciatina a Twitter (per chi vuole seguirmi il mio account è @ormedidinosauri) e all’altra mia nuova passione, l’App di Instagram, fantastica vero? fai la foto, piccolo ritocco in stile istantanea di Kodak e via, condivisa, se mi vuoi aggiungere anche in Instagram cerca @antonioconte67. Ma torniamo alle notizie, nel suo stream vengo attratto e leggo avidamente una fotonotizia, che ho subito retwittato, con shot screen della testata, ecco il titolo “Amazing news! Top LRA commander Caesar Achellam captured by the Ugandan forces in Central African Republic.”. In sostanza dice che le forze armate dell’Uganda hanno arrestato uno stretto collaboratore di Joseph Kony, quello che arruola o mutila i bambini soldato.
La notizia è stata pubblicata dall’account “@invisiblechildren“, che è davvero molto seguito con le sue 393 foto e 45016 seguitori, lui invece ne segue solo 81.
La foto postata è di una pagina della inglese BBC, trovate l’articolo in fondo se non avete voglia di recavi sull’Africa BBC.
L’arresto è importante, si dice, in quanto potrebbe aprire la strada per l’arresto di Joseph Kony il leader di LRA, speriamo presto.
Ma ormai frenare i miei nipoti mentre fanno a gara per usare il touch screen è già un’impresa.

Uganda captures LRA senior commander
A senior commander in the rebel Lord’s Resistance Army has been captured by the Ugandan army, a spokesman has said.
Caesar Achellam was seized on Saturday following a struggle between Ugandan soldiers and a group of 30 rebels.
The commander, whom Ugandan officials say is a top rebel military strategist, was captured in the Central African Republic, one of several nations where the Ugandan-led LRA operates.
The most notorious wanted LRA leader is war crimes suspect Joseph Kony.
Following his arrest, Achellam told reporters: “The general of the division, Caesar Achellam, who has fought in the jungle since 1984, is from now on in the hands of the Ugandan Army.”
Ugandan army spokesman Felix Kulaigye, meanwhile, said: “The arrest of Major General Caesar Achellam is big progress because he is a big fish.
“His capture is definitely going to cause an opinion shift within LRA.”
The commander’s wife, his young daughter and a helper were also held.
Kony’s global notoriety has increased in recent months because of the internet video Kony 2012, which has been watched tens of millions of times since it was posted online by the US advocacy group Invisible Children.
He is wanted by the International Criminal Court for rape, mutilation and murder of civilians, as well as forcibly recruiting children to serve as soldiers and sex slaves.
The UN’s special representative for Central Africa said on Saturday that Kony was having to move constantly in order to evade capture.
Abou Moussa said: “Contrary to what Kony used to do – that he would stay one month, two months on the ground – he is now moving almost every other day which means the pressure is mounting on him.”
The Ugandan army is being assisted in its hunt for Kony by soldiers from other African nations, as well as US special forces.
The strength of his LRA is estimated at between 200 and 500 fighters.
