Red and White? a perfect wedding!

even if now days you can see all kinds of combinations. The designers  mix red to blue, to pink and even to yellow

Do you remember when our grandmothers and mothers used to tell us, that the red was one of the most difficult colors to match? and that if you really had to wear it, the best combination was with  white or black?

And do you remember the famous circle of Itten?? I still have nightmares of those lessons ….

Well …. I went on the safety  side….. WHITE!

Mind you …. I was informed that the red is not just in fashion this summer, but this morning my being “Camaleontic woman” led me to  search for an outfit that recalls the wonderful women “pin up” of the ’50s!

Do I have succeeded in my purpose?? uhmmm I don’t know, but I felt a little bit retro.

Rosso e Bianco? un matrimonio perfetto! 

Anche se adesso… si vede di tutto…. Gli stilisti addirittura mescolano il rosso al blu, al rosa e persino al giallo….  

Vi ricordate quando le nonne e le mamme ci dicevano che il  rosso era uno dei colori più difficili da abbinare?  e che se proprio dovevamo indossarlo, la miglior combinazione era con il bianco o il nero? 

E il famoso cerchio di Itten??? Ho ancora gli incubi di quelle lezioni….

Beh…. io sono andata sul sicuro….. BIANCO!

Badate bene…. mi hanno informata che il rosso non è proprio di moda quest’estate, ma  stamattina il mio essere “Donna Camaleontica” mi ha portato alla ricerca di un outfit che ricordasse le meravigliose donne “pin up” degli anni ’50!

Ci sono riuscita?  uhmmm di sicuro mi sono sentita un pochino retro.

¿Rojo y blanco? una boda perfecta!

A pesar de que…. hemos visto de todo un poco… Los diseñadores incluso mezclan el rojo con el azul, el rosado y hasta con  el amarillo.

¿Se recuerdan cuando las abuelas y las madres nos decían que el rojo era uno de los colores más difíciles de combinar?  y ¿que si realmente teníamos que usarlo, la mejor combinación era con el blanco o negro?
¿Y el famoso círculo de Itten? Todavía tengo pesadillas de esas lecciones ….

Bueno…. Me fui con lo seguro….. BLANCO!

Eso sí…. Estoy bien informada que el rojo no está de moda este verano, pero esta mañana mi ser “Mujer Camaleontica” me llevó a buscar un outfit que recordara las maravillosas mujeres “pin up” de los años 50′.

¿Tuve éxito en mi objetivo? uhmmm no lo sé…. pero me sentí un poco retro.
