Refashion & pattern remix

Questo post racchiude in sè tante storie:la mia passione per il refashion (riciclo, riuso, ecc)la mia prima partecipazione ad un sew-alongla mia prima partecipazione ad un pattern remix di Project Run & play la mia prima collaborazione con Refashion co-op.
Ma.. andiamo con ordine:
C'erano una volta un paio di tendine, che ho trovato nella casa in cui abito e appartenevano ai precedenti proprietari... come tendine niente di che, ma io non butto via mai niente, quindi: lavate, piegate ed archiviate!

But... first things first:Once upon a time there was a couple of curtains, which I found in the house where I live and belonged to the previous owners ... those curtains were nothing good, but I do not throw away anything, then: washed, folded and stored!

Passano 6 anni e un giorno decido di partecipare al sew-along (molto dettagliato, peraltro) di Lolita Pattern, che insegna a cucire una gonna (Fuchsia)... allora vado a scegliere la stoffa e mi capitano in mano proprio le tendine... perchè no?
Solo che ne avanzavo un bel pezzo e, si sa, non si butta via niente, quindi penso ad un vestitino per LaPatata, coordinato a quello di mammà... sì, ma che modello? Proprio mentre ci stavo pensando, ecco che Project Run & Play presenta il Pattern Remix dello Spring Fever Dress di Jessica di Me Sew Crazy... sì, lo voglio!!!!!
E così ho trovato un po' di stoffe coordinate e ho iniziato a cucire (e a remixare).

Six years later... 

One day I decided to participate in the sew-along from Lolita Pattern, which teaches sewing a skirt (Fuchsia) with a sew-along (very detailed, however) ... then I'm going to choose the fabric and I came across those curtains ... why not?
But there was a lot of fabric left and, you know, I don't throw anything away, so I think to a dress for LilPotato,mother&daughter style ... yes, but what pattern can I use? 
Just as I was thinking, Project Run & Play presents the Pattern Remix of Jessica's Spring Fever Dress from Me Sew Crazy ... yes, I do!!
And so I found a bit of coordinated fabrics and started sewing (and remix).

The fabrics -  Le stoffe

Queste le mie modifiche:

• solo tre balze e non quattro
• niente apertura coi bottoni dietro, invece chiusura coi lacci sulle spalle (in questo modo in più il davanti e il dietro risultano intercambiabili)
  
• arricciatura con FOE e impuntura a contrasto decorativa sui lati superiori del top, allargando di un paio di cm il modello
• rosellina di tessuto coordinata, lasciata grezza che si sfilaccia un po', removibile (cucita ad una spilla di sicurezza)

These are the changes I made:

• only three and not four ruffles
• no opening with buttons behind, instead closing with laces over the shoulders (so back and front can be switched)
• curl with FOE and decorative contrast stitching on the upper sides of the top,  after enlarging the pattern of  a couple of inches
• rosette of fabric coordinated left unfinished so it will unravel a bit, removable (stitched to a safety pin).

E così, con questo post mi presento anche come refashionista per la nuovissima collaborazione con Refashion Co-op: sono eccitatissima all'idea di contribuire alla creazione di un blog che ho sempre letto avidamente e mai e poi mai avrei pensato addirittura di... scrivere!
Last, but NOT LEAST ;), with this post I introduce myself as a new contributor to Refashion Co-op: I'm excited by the idea of ​​contributing to a blog that I've always avidly read and never, never even thought of ... write!
