Regala Natalie Imbruglia ad Alex!

Lo scorso anno, per il mio compleanno, mi avete regalato Elisabetta Canalis.
Tutto è partito da questa mia letterina aperta, e si è tradotto, nel giro di pochi giorni, in un intervento della diretta interessata, che mi ha effettivamente mandato una foto con dedica di buon compleanno.
Che dire: bellissima e divertente avventura, che dimostra quanto anche i blogger siano capaci di divertirsi, senza cadute di stile (o almeno così spero).
Sicché mi son detto: rifacciamolo anche quest’anno. Il 26 novembre compirò 39 anni e intendo raggiungere un’altra delle mie muse, nel tentativo di farmi fare gli auguri. Non sono pazzo né altro. Voglio soltanto un regalo particolare, unico, e a costo zero.
Quest’anno miro direttamente alla mia musa numero uno, la diva che più considero da tempo lo stereotipo di icona femminile: Natalie Imbruglia.
Perciò, ve lo chiedo senza giri di parole: regalatemi Natalie Imbruglia!

Bellissima, elegante, lontana dal mood delle celebrità moderne, disposte a fotografarsi nelle situazioni più imbarazzanti pur di comparire su blog e giornali. Questa è Natalie. Schiva, quando invece le sarebbe bastato poco per essere cento volte più famosa di una Miley Cyrus qualunque. La Imbruglia ha sempre evitato la macchina del gossip e dello scandalo. Ancora oggi, al posto di darsi alla bella vita, si è reinventata imprenditrice, lanciando ILUKA Skincare, la sua linea di prodotti cosmetici. E credo che presto tornerà anche a cantare.
Anche per questo la adoro.
Ah, poi è una classe 1975. Proprio come me.
Ok, questi sono i motivi per cui mi piacerebbe ricevere i suoi auguri ma… come si partecipa?
Più o meno come accadde lo scorso anno per Elisabetta.

Entro il 26 novembre mi piacerebbe ricevere questa foto con dedica da parte di Natalie, o quantomeno un tweet, per l’occasione, uno smile su Facebook o qualcosa del genere.
Quindi, che vi chiedo di fare?

Last year, for my birthday, you gave me Elisabetta Canalis as a gift.
Everything started with this open letter of mine, and in a few days it turned into a direct response of the interested party, that actually sent me a photo with a dedication, wishing me a happy birthday.
As to say: a wonderful and fun adventure, showing how bloggers can have fun, and stay classy (hopefully).
And so I said myself: let’s do it again this year. On the 26th of November I’ll turn 39, and I’d like to reach out to another of my personal muses, trying to get her to send me her greetings. I’m not crazy or anything. I simply look for an original, unique gift, free of charge.
And this year I aim at my number one muse, the star that more than any other I’ve been considering all these years as the epitome of the female icon: Natalie Imbruglia.
And so I ask you, straight away: give me Natalie Imbruglia as a gift!

Beautiful, elegant, far from the clichés of modern celebrities, accepting to be photographed in some of the most embarrassing and appear on blogs and newspapers. This is Natalie. Discrete, when she could easily be more famous than any Miley Cyrus out there, Imbruglia always steered clear of the scandal and gossip machine. Even today, instead of maybe live the good life, she has reinvented herself as entrepreneur, launching ILUKA Skincare, her own line of cosmetics. And I think that she will be back soon to sing.
Another reason why I adore her.
Ah, and then she’s class of 1975. Just like me.
So ok, these are the reasons why I’d like to receive her birthday card, but… how it works?
More or less like it worked last year with Elisabetta.
