Ubisoft ha annunciato alcuni nuovi brani che saranno inclusi in Rocksmith 2014 Edition. Il titolo sarà disponibile ad ottobre (giorno 24 salvo nuove indicazioni) e permetterà ai giocatori di iniziare un vero e proprio viaggio nel mondo della musica collegando – come in Rocksmith – qualsiasi chiatarre elettrica o basso direttamente al Pc (Windows o Mac) o alla propria console (Xbox 360 e PlayStation 3).
La versione 2014, inoltre, consentirà di importare i dlc e le canzoni di Rocksmith per poterle usarle insieme al nuovo e promettente teaching mode.
