In 1999 Alexander McQueen draws for Givenchy and creates a bustier in High Risk Red. It is inspired by the armor of bronze designed in 1969 by the artist Francois-Xavier and Claude Lalanne for Yves Saint Laurent. The fitted bodice in pressed leather is provocative, disquieting and in an extreme red color.
