RS1000 Replica by Totti

And suddenly you realize that all you have been waiting for is just a Honda Hornet. From a bike which isn't certainly rare nor particularly fascinating, but surely effective, Roberto Totti built an attractive replica of the 1980 RS1000 Endurance, designed by RSC. 
E improvvisamente ti rendi conto che tutto ciò che volevi era una Honda Hornet… Da una moto certo non rara né particolarmente fascinosa, ma sicuramente assai efficace, Roberto Totti ha creato una replica della RS1000 Endurance del 1980, progettata dalla RSC. 


RSC - Racing Service Center was the name of the racing division of Honda before the same turn into a separate company in 1982, taking the name of HRC - Honda Racing Corporation. Roberto Totti developed a conversion kit that includes fairing with twin headlights and relevant brackets, fiberglass gas tank which allows to keep the original fuel injection pump, a new rear frame that allows twin shock absorbers in place of mono and the tail with dual seat and removable cover. In this case, the donor bike is a 2009 model (100 HP @ 12000 RPM) 
RSC - Racing Service Center era il nome del reparto corse della Honda prima che lo stesso si trasformasse in società a se stante nel 1982, prendendo il nome di HRC - Honda Racing Corporation. Roberto Totti ha elaborato un kit di trasformazione che contempla carenatura con supporti e doppio faro, serbatoio in VTR che permette di conservare la pompa originale dell'iniezione, un nuovo telaio posteriore che permette l'installazione di una coppia di ammortizzatori in luogo del mono e la relativa coda con sella biposto e cover asportabile. In questo caso, le modifiche sono state apportate ad una Hornet del 2009 (circa 100 CV a 12000 giri).
