SaiNT LauReNT...YaY or NaY???????

I must confess I miss Stefano Pilati a lot...I had great expectations on Hedi Slimane's debut even if I didn't like the new name of the Maison ( Saint Laurent instead of YSL... ) and I sincerely think that some of the Style of Monsieur Yves has been left on the road...I liked the bow-shirts & the hats, but I didn't like the models ( YSL should be worn by elegant models as Joan Smalls, not skinny adolescents ) and the "Far-West" influence of most of the clothes...certainly such a heavy legacy cannot & must not be judged just after one single Collection, so I hope to change my mind with the next one...in the meantime, I found this gorgeous illustration of one of the best look from the Catwalk, drawn by a really talented blogger ( you can find her Blog here thanks Beatrix! ) Have a great day honeys!!!!!!!!!!xoxoxoxo-----------------------------------------------------------------------------Devo essere onesta e confessarVi che sento parecchio la nostalgia di Pilati...il debutto di Slimane mi ha lasciato un po' perplessa e mi e' dispiaciuto il cambio di nome della Maison ( che bisogno c'era???? ) mi sembra che si sia perso un po' per strada lo charme di Monsieur Yves ed abbia sfilato una donna, sicuramente piu' moderna, ma un po' meno elegante...non è che non mi sia piaciuta, erano belle le camicie con i fiocchi sui pantaloni a sigaretta, e non male i cappelli a falda larga per un look piu' cosmopolita, ma non mi sono piaciute per niente le modelle scelte (Saint Laurent lo devi far sfilare su donne tipo Joan Smalls non su ragazzine tisiche...) e le divagazioni western, comunque sicuramente una cosi' pesante eredità non puo' e non deve essere giudicata su una Collezione e sono volentieri pronta a ricredermi...molto bella e' pero' questa illustrazione di una blogger-illustratrice spagnola - bravissima - che ha colto il look vincente ed ha subito acconsentito a farmela usare ( trovate qui il suo Blog, Grazie Beatrix! ) Buona Giornata!!!!!!!!xoxoxoxo
