Sclerosi Multipla: l’angioplastica per la CCSVI può migliorare alcuni sintomi

ccsviTalvolta alcuni neurologi nel tentativo di dissuadere i propri malati dal fare l’intervento di angioplastica (PTA) per curare l’insufficienza venosa cronica cerebro spinale (CCSVI), scoperta nel 2007 dal prof. Paolo Zamboni (Direttore del Centro Malattie Vascolari dell’Università di Ferrara), con aria saccente raccontano la storiella che l’intervento non servirebbe a niente.
Visto che in Medicina contano le pubblicazioni in letteratura e non le chiacchiere da bar, ecco alcuni studi sulla CCSVI pubblicati fino ad oggi che dimostrano come l’angioplastica possa migliorare alcuni sintomi della sclerosi multipla (non in tutti i casi come tra l’altro neanche per le costose medicine…).
