Sto su Mammabook! - I'm on Mammabook

Avete visto la raccolta di guest post da Mammabook di questo anno? Il tema è "Riciclo Creativo per Bambini" quindi potete immaginare quante idee meravigliose ci sono e quanto sono contenta di partecipare anch'io in questa collezione di progetti! Silvia mi ha chiesto se per caso io potessi scrivere sull'abbigliamento e figurati quanto mi facesse piacere, io che amo tanto il refashioning. Ma, non trattandosi di un blog di cucito, non volevo scrivere su qualcosa che richiedesse la macchina da cucire. Quindi ho fatto tre tutorial su come trasformare capi inutilizzati della guardaroba dei bimbi in vestiti estivi. Ci sono i fantasmini, magliette a maniche corte e pantaloncini e pinocchietti, ma il bello è che ho specificato non solo come fare questi refashion con ago e filo, ma anche senza dover cucire neanche un punto! I tutorial, sia in Italiano che in Inglese, sono divisi in due post, uno per i calzini e le magliette e quello di oggi per i pantaloncini/pinocchietti. Andate a vedere!

The theme is "Creative Recycling for Children" so you can immagine how many cool ideas there are and how happy I was to be able to participate as well! Silvia asked me if I could by any chance write something about clothing, so go figure what my answer was, given how much I love refashioning! But, not being a sewing blog, I didn't want to write about anything requiring a sewing machine. So I made up three tutorials on how to transform unused clothing in your children's closet into summer clothing. There are ankle socks, t-shirts and shorts and pedal pushers, but the cool thing is that I described not only how to do these refashions with needle and thread, but also how to do them without sewing a single stitch! The tutorials, in both English and Italian, are split into two separate posts, one for socks and t-shirts and today's for shorts/pedal pushers. Go check it out!
