Hi there!I finally figured out how to use the blog. So here we go, let’s get started.This blog was officially born on May 15 2011, at the table of a delightful pizzeria.My boyfriend had been telling me to open a blog for almost a year but I always refused because I am extremely jealous of my privacy. That night, I don’t know why, we decided to meet each other halfway: I was going to open the blog and he was going to find out a way for me to keep my identity hidden. We selected 10 fashion icons that will kindly lend me their faces for every post.This is actually a great thing because I won’t have to wear make up and blow dry my hair every day (which I hate).Something I can definitely tell you about me is that I’m Italian, I love my country a lot and I wanted it to be part of the blog… That’s how the title was born. I’m in my mid 20s, fashion has been running through my veins since I was a kid. Of course when it was time for me to find a job it had to be fashion related.For the first outfit post I decided to wear this trompe l’oeil dress by Mary Katrantzou for Topshop, with a long navy cardigan and my pom-pom Etro sandals (you’ll be seeing them a lot because they’re just too cute and comfy).For today I borrowed Bianca Balti’s face. She’s the most beautiful model and she’s Italian, a great way to start.Let me know your thoughts!xoF.

Ciao a tutti!Finalmente ho capito come usare il blog. Per cui è arrivato il momento, iniziamo.Questo blog nasce ufficialmente il 15 Maggio 2011, al tavolo di una deliziosa pizzeria.Il mio ragazzo era già un po’ di tempo che insisteva perché aprissi un blog, ma io avevo sempre rifiutato perché troppo gelosa della mia privacy.Quella sera, non so perché, abbiamo deciso di venirci incontro: io avrei aperto il blog e lui avrebbe trovato un modo con cui avrei potuto mantenere privata la mia identità.Abbiamo quindi scelto 10 icone di moda che gentilmente mi presteranno le loro facce per ogni post.Questa è davvero una cosa fantastica perché non dovrò truccarmi e sistemarmi i capelli ogni giorno (cosa che odio).Qualcosa che posso sicuramente dirvi su di me è che sono Italiana, amo molto il mio paese e volevo che fosse parte del blog… Ecco come è nato il titolo.Sono nel mezzo del cammin di nostra vita meno 11 anni e la moda scorre nel mio sangue da quando ero bambina. Quando è stato il momento di iniziare a lavorare sicuramente non potevo non scegliere la moda come campo.Per il primo post ho deciso di mettere questo vestito trompe l’oeil di Mary Katrantzou per Topshop, con un cardigan lungo blu e i miei amati sandali pon-pon di Etro (che vedrete molto spesso perché sono troppo carini e comodi).Per oggi ho preso in prestito la faccia di Bianca Balti, che per me è la modella più bella… E poi è Italiana, un modo perfetto per iniziare.Fatemi sapere i vostri pensieri!BaciF.
