The dances in Italy in the 60's

Just to create a diversion we can talk about dance, for a while. Every generation has danced and had fun. The dance is a way to socialize. Also the dances-  as the songs- have their story. I would like to come back to the legendary 60's: just to see what happened few decades ago. Our grandparents or our parents were uncontrollable young just like us! One of the most important moments for the new dances was between 1965 and 1966. In Italy comes the Sirtaki ... I know, it is a Greek dancing: obviously this dance was adapted on the Italian music. Do not believe me? Look at the video below. All were very unfettered in Italy with the twist ... you should see my father when he recalls his youth and he dance it again : he is the envy of the professional dancers! We never want to forget the shakedance! In this video, Giulietta Masina, an Italian actress and the wife of Fellini, dance with the young Rita Pavone (which was one of the new singers called “the screamers”). They were dancing the shake: let’s go and try it! Obviously t the new dances were more than these  : the evenings were long and you could change the way of dance many time! The energy was so great, the enthusiasm on the top. For the moment, however, we take breath and keep your energy for the next post and the next dance.  Giusto per distrarci un po’ pensiamo a ballare. Ogni generazione ha ballato e si è divertita perché ballare è un modo per socializzare. Come le canzoni anche i balli hanno avuto la loro storia. Ritorniamo sempre ai mitici anni 60: giusto per vedere cosa è successo qualche decennio fa. I nostri nonni o i nostri genitori giovani erano scatenati proprio come noi!  Uno dei momenti più importanti per le nuove danze è stato tra il 1965 e il 1966. In Italia arriva il sirtaki…sì sì proprio la danza greca: ovviamente rivista su brani musicali italiani. Non ci credete?
