The end after “The Origin”

Ed eccomi qui a parlare di com'è andata l'inaugurazione di " The Origin".
Dopo una serie di imprevisti che hanno reso più "frizzante" l'allestimento, il vernissage è stato un momento di condivisione interessante e piacevole per tutti.

Here I am to talk about the inauguration of "The Origin".
After a series of glitches that made more "exciting" the mounting, the vernissage was an interesting and enjoyable moment of sharing for everyone.

Innanzitutto è stato molto bello per me incontrare di persona i soggetti che poche ore prima avevamo "attaccato" metaforicamente ai muri.
E poi quando lavori per così tanto tempo a una esposizione e cerchi di visualizzarla anche nei dettagli, quando poi la vedi in atto ti sembra quasi irreale. Non so se riesco a spiegarmi.
Lo Spazio RAW è formato da due piani, due ambienti molto diversi strutturalmente, cosa che è stata assolutamente funzionale alla mostra, composta infatti da due progetti differenti per approccio, stile, tecnica e soggetti. La prima stanza è quasi una piazza affollata da personaggi/persone che interpretano la maschilità a loro modo, in dialogo con l'osservatore. La seconda stanza, al piano di sotto, ospita invece una serie di sole sei stampe, sei momenti importanti nel percorso personale di transizione dell'autore: Orlando Myxx.
Un momento toccante e quasi commovente della serata è stato il reading di Giovanna Frene, che ha letto alcune poesie tratte dal catalogo della mostra. I testi rielaborano i pensieri e le esperienze dei soggetti ritratti e gli applausi, spontanei ed empatici, che ne sono seguiti sono stati un simbolo di apertura mentale.

First of all it was beautiful for me to meet in person those who, just hours before, I had "attacked" metaphorically to the walls.
When you work for so long in a show and try to visualize it even in the details, then when you see it in action it seems almost unreal. I don't know if I can explain.
The Spazio RAW consists of two floors, two very different ambients structurally. This was absolutely functional to the exhibition, in fact composed of two different projects for: approach, style, technique and subjects. The first room is almost a square crowded with characters/persons who interpret masculinity in their own way, in dialogue with the viewer. The second room, downstairs, houses instead only six prints, six important moments in the personal phases of transition for the author: Orlando Myxx.
A touching moment of the evening was the reading of Giovanna Frene, who read some poems from the exhibition catalog. The texts elaborate the thoughts and experiences of the subjects and the applauses, spontaneous and empathic, that followed were a symbol of openness.
